Girl I'm not her anti-fan! But honestly, after converting that Graff earring's value to my local currency ....I was truly mindblown. Truly, her parents might have arranged some connections for her to enter the industry and secure roles. Tbh that's what every parent with money should be doing for their child. Honestly they should've managed her socials with a proper manager, considering her popularity. That way, she would never have posted that pic in the first place. It's a pity. Like u said, she has the talent. But if this case gets wrapped up quickly, considering her parents have connections ....then she would not get cancelled and everything will be forgotten soon. But idk it truly depends on the way the Chinese government handles their case and how Cnetz will perceive it. She didn't do anything wrong but the cancel culture in China and Korea is a very serious thing, sadly.

There's no main second lead couple, but there's the prince and the FL's sister (kind of one-sided), also another two disciples of the Western Sect, Wei Jiu and his subordinate (kind of complex and one-sided in a way) ....but their romances are not much shown plus none of them contribute much to the main plot as the main couple. Only the prince's and FL's sister's one is adding to the plot.

Only one character dies and is reborn; all of this happens in the same timeline. That person gets born into the same world 18 years later and meets the same people that person once lived with. Others around that person don't age much after 18 years cuz they are immortals.

Poor queen, she's such a innocent character who's not involved with anything but somehow she always suffers :(

No, but tbh a 07 liner getting main roles like this is a little bit sus... I have been watching cdramas for a while now, and the actress Ai Mi has stood out to me as a rising young actress. Ai Mi is always doing supporting roles in mainstream dramas while building her career step by step. But when it comes to Tian Tian, she is a relatively new face, not even in the industry for as long as Ai Mi, but her landing main roles in S+ dramas really does look like nepotism. No offense to her tho because I liked her acting in The Perfect Match and she truly can act. It's such a pity how her career is now facing backlash due to her parents and their ways of earning wealth. She actually could have done small roles and entered the industry slowly; that way, Cnets wouldn't be able to pinpoint the honesty of her career like this. But with a filmography like hers, everything is really questionable. Such a pity tho! Poor her.

Really glad none of the sisters married the emperor, cuz it would have made everything complex. Then the Li mama has to get involved with country politics lol.

This drama was good. No wonder Netflix kept this drama. This drama has so much angst and pain than happy happy sprinkly scenes. So if you want to watch something to relieve stress, then probably this drama isn't for you. This is more of thriller angst, trauma, and straight-up sadness. There’s no healing here — it’s just sad asf. It keeps getting heavier and messier, and when you think it can’t get worse... it does. If you're ready for emotional damage and intense storytelling, then give it a shot. Otherwise, save it for when you're mentally prepared lol. Don't watch this if you expect "they lived happily ever after" sort of ending,

IU really knows how to pick a good impactful script
