The focus was too much on antagonists and it felt like their relationship went from 0 to 100.There was one solid kiss scene but don’t expect much romance at all.I like strong female characters but Meng Na’s was especially OP.

I’m normally a fan of Meng Na’s dramas and the scripts that she picks up but this one didn’t quite hit the spot compared to her other ones. It is still watchable but I did fast forward quite a lot.

1. So was Nie Huaisang's main purpose to avenge his half brother? So does this mean he only got involved and found out about Jin Guangyao's bad deeds after his half brother's death?
2. What was originally in the box that Jin Guangyao had people dig up in the temple? What was his last goal that he wanted to achieve? Did he really do all those things just because he came from a low birth status?
3. What was the difference between the four Yin pieces and the Yin sword?
4. How exactly did Wei Wuxian create the Stygian Tiger Amulet? Did he use the Yin sword's spirit or is it the sword and transformed?
