from what i remember the webtoon is kinda like a compilation of different incidents that are taken on by the protagonist,…
yeah it's worrying, i don't think they'll include the racism plot (hopefully) but the anti-feminism is iffy.. and i was more so pointing out that the motive itself to adapt such a series is questionable regardless
was it the plot and overarching theme they were drawn to or the story itself? can you really separate such a work that has discriminatory messages interwoven in it by the creators.. like what exactly do you admire about it so much that you decided to adapt it and give it an ever bigger platform
Great review.I didn’t know, that “woke” has its roots in the alertness against racial discrimination. Imo…
thank you! i tried my best to make it still understandable lolol my thoughts were kind of everywhere. and yeah i would agree, it was very thought-provoking and i personally enjoyed it :)
this is very well articulated, and ACTUALLY offers a critically (as in analytical) dynamic perspective rather than the discriminatory slop so many others have been writing. i had a long reply typed out to this but i figured it may go better in my review since it was mainly just dunking on the brainless losers who are crying because lgbtq+ people were shown on screen lol-- but anyway thats to say that this shows an actual effort to understand what you are watching unlike others who sum it up to a drama that's "too woke" and pat themselves on the back like they just did god's work
the first line tells me all i need to know about you and this horrendous review, shouldn't have wasted my time reading through your buIIshit 😟 not sure if chalking this up to you just being a soulless troll would be better than the hateful, ignorant, privileged loser that this review gives lol
ridiculous that those involved in production casted lee kyung young for a cameo in a drama where actors claim "social justice to be emblematic of it". such a slap in the face to the actors who may truly believe in its cause, viewers who strongly support it, and it destroys everything the show is supposed to stand for. what a joke
lee j*nwook's success despite being the scum of the earth is actually sickening. directors/writers yall are never going to convince me that he is a k-drama heartthrob.
