whilst i sorta like her especially after her newest work Captivating the King, i think she’s gotten a lot better. i totally get how you feel bcus i feel the same about Nam Ji Hyun. despite her huge fanbase i don’t see the talent anywhere 😅

(i loved PH & liked LW) but i wouldn’t call this a makjang at all. it’s a pretty believable political concept since we have no idea what happens behind the scenes of powerful politicians. it’s cutthroat & morally grey & flip floppy characters aren’t comic book villains. ofc it’s dramatized but i recommend watching the first ep & see if you like it 🤗

i LOVE Kim Ji Won ~ (My Liberation Notes, Fight For My Way, DotS, & Lovestruck In The City) but i’m gonna say it bcus i haven’t seen anyone else say it yet… she sucked as Hae In. i don’t think playing a cold character is her forte, she looked really awk & it was tough to watch. honestly it’s not an easy role to play but Seo Yea Ji would have been PERFECT if Kim Soo Hyun wasn’t ML already. i don’t think it could have totally fixed this dumpster fire but it would have been a little better imo.
