Y'all should stop saying it's an open or even a happy ending. Did we watch the same finale???๐ It's clearly a sad ending where EVERYONE died except for Susu, her son and Hai Tang Qing.
Unfortunately, Qingyi's life was a tragedy from start to finish. ๐He was never loved truly as much as he deserved by anyone in his life including Susu. If anything, the only one who truly wanted the best for him was Qingyu. He was abused and hated as a kid, he was treated like an outcast as an adult and he was used by everyone. He never got to really live his life and he just happened to experience some fleeting moments of happiness that always brought more pain afterwards. Like he bad to pay for the small glimpses of normalcy. And he died a martyr. ๐He died a hero but he was a victim of everyone's selfish obsessions. Sorry but Susu really was a curse in his life. He could have lived a happy life away from the Murongs and the Lis and the Zhangs. And she was literally his demise. He became a sacrificial lamb for others to achieve revenge. I'm so mad. ๐ก
Don't fall for the illusion that we got a happy ending because there's an additional script with him alive two years after the events of ep33. That was never filmed so it is NOT canon, sorry to burst your bubble.๐
I was warned about Republican dramas always having tragic endings. ๐Now, I know so I can stay clear of them for good. My only exception will be Cheng Lei's "The Lament of Autumn" because I love him and I don't want to skip any of his upcoming projects but that will be all for me. Done with this era for good.
The Right Chancellor, correct?? ๐The facial features under the veil and the build, along with the voice, all of these match to an exceptionally high degree. How is he the biological brother of the leader of the Tiger Roar gang??? Who are they really??? ๐ง
Bruh, if I were Yeo Ri, I'd touch every single person in that trash family and curse them to go crazy!!! ๐ฟ
Especially that evil skunk, her cousin and the cunning grandmother (I'm not buying that she HAPPENED to pass out with Min Hwan present and the first thing she discussed in the hospital is the engagement, just stfu you hag!!!) Also, Min Hwan is giving "Queen of Tears" villain SML vibes and I want to punch him every time he opens his mouth, he's an obsessed freak!!! ๐คฎ
Something is werd about him - just don't know what it is. But why do you think he might be a murderer?!
I feel like he killed his brother. His brother is the one often haunting Yeo Ri and her potential love interests. I think maybe Ji Hwan and Yeo Ri had something and Min Hwan was jealous (and also felt inferior because he's not the biological son of his parents) so he took the shot and caused his brother's drowning. That's just my theory though. But I'm absolutely certain he's guilty of something anyway.
I cringe every time Min Hwan breathes around Yeo Ri. Especially since I'm ๐ฏ% sure he's a murderer. I hate that he ruins so many scenes with his insufferable presence!!! I want his arm broken every time he puts it behind Yeo Ri's back!!! Just GTFO, you creep!!! ๐คฌ
No offence to the voice actor dubbing the Emperor but it's such a loss for this drama not to have CZY's incredibly imposing voice. Like, in every intense scene, I catch myself saying "yeah that's cool, but imagine if we heard CZY here..."๐ฅบ
I did read that he was unable to do the work but I'm still bummed I don't get to hear him speak in his unique way. ๐I'm PRAYING we get his original voice in "Chasing Dreams". ๐ค
Btw, why only one episode today??? It's too early for this.......
