Finally finished the most talked about drama at MDL right now...I started drama knowing that it is a sad ending..waited till it is finished so i can binge watch.
Pros: The initial arc : it was very good. I really loved the part in Danchi. Cuteness overload The Chemistry was amazing...if you are fan of the couple..don't miss the extra episodes for fluff. Cinematography is awesome.. they worked super hard on it.. the sand dunes and grass fields take your breath away. The acting during the end scenes was amazing.. i have shed lot of tears. All the characters played are awesome, cannot find fault with the acting at all.. I also understand why the FL was not given a character growth. she is simple girl..was supposed to stay simple till the end. Cons: I personally feel the story went kaput when they reached central plains and the whole amnesia thing was so confusing. the writer didn't know what to do with the couple. i had to fast forward lot of palace politics towards the end. I dont get the revenge plot as well. there was not enough backstory to it. why the ML has to feel so strong to kill the danchi..it could have been handled in a better way. This is one story if written well, could have gotten a happy ending. I think the writer always had sad ending in mind,so he didn't give opportunity for ML to redeem himself. especially the final episodes, forcing FL and killing Shifu and hurting A'du doesnt make anysense. it somewhat felt like i am watching Thai drama. There was no definite side story, generally for such long episode there needs to be some side love stories to keep the fluff going..there were so many characters the princess maid , Adu , general Pei, Mi Lou. they could have build something..
But Overall , it was good. so i am giving 8.5 to it..

Yes..Finally finshed the Drama... Thanks for encouraging me not to drop it... It did get better later on.. like after 15 episodes.. the thriller part is nicely done... the last episode was all fan service...not complaining though... gave an 8. :)
I am worried about the ending for this drama... i ship tan with both past and future cheng's.. I will be heart broken either way... Also there is lot of mess right now (watched till ep20)..how are they going to clear this and give us justified ending???

1. Marrying mistress of your brother..is that a common thing... 2. Family didnt object when they were registering their marriage.. but if they sleep in same room..ppl started objecting.. i didnt understand this.. am i missing something.. 3. i know FL is there to find the killer. but the way she tackles the problem creates unnecessary drama..which i dont like..
I am on episode 5 now...first 2 eps were awesome...i think the story is toning down a little bit and getting repetitive..…

Wow , what a ride it was... i was suspicious of priest yang from beginning but the real PID was a shock.. ep 13-14 i was like see ,i told you priest yang is shady .. but once he jumped off..i was like now what.. i was lost..i was suspecting every char which came on my screen.. but Gpa was a surprise..the jump scare element has definitely toned down after ep2..but it was good enough for a scaredy cat like me.. kept me on toes..
i see more similarities with harry potter though.. YHP being the chosen one from beginning.. he didn't have a scar on forehead but he was definitely the marked one..i loved when excoricsm doesn't work on YHP in last episode..KGY reminding of friendship worked...just like the love and friendship gave strength to harry..PID is copy of Voldemort he does not understand love.. he just enjoys killing and wants power over world..
it was hard to stop myself from reading the spoiler tags..off i go to read all the hidden stuff and other's views....

Thank god , i am not alone... I even find the trio similar too, Harry(Hwa Pyung is little cheerful) , ron( choi more serious) and hermonie(inetelligent girl)... I love the scenes when the trio work together... I will hang in there to see , who PID might be...
Right now my guess is Priest Yang..he is shaddy and his org is connected to all victims..

I cant get over this.. i re-re-rewatched a hundred times...i think i better read the novel too..
