Well, it wasn't my prediction or anything. I just thought S1 had a good enough closure. It will be difficult to continue the same storyline as the first season.

Hidden gem of the year 2023!

This drama has very good pacing. Might be because of less number of episodes.

For me highlight for this drama is OST especially in following 2 scenes:
In episode 1 when ML brings some food item
In episode 2 the pool drowning scene

He doesn't give up the title. In the last 10 mins of episode 20 (after a time-skip), he goes to bring her back to palace in a palanquin. Palanquin symbolises marriage in that context.

In the end of episode 4, ML sort of confesses that he killed someone. FL ignores this fact and focuses on the fact that she can hear ML's lies.

Hence, I'm reluctant to continue after this fallacy. Should I continue?

I agree. After watching the drama when I landed on this page, I was unpleasantly surprised seeing the reviews here. It's 10/10 for me also.

Baek Seung Soo wasn't even tiny bit interested romantically in Lee Se Young.

As far as I remember (I watched it in 2020)
They had a child who died. The ex-wife kind of blamed him. Hence, the apology.

Well, that would have changed this drama to different genre.

It was something about ML not letting FL into his Room 21.
Meaning - ML wasn't expressing his feelings.

SPOILERS

In the comparative sense, A Josean Attorney had a strong start with ML solving couple of good cases in the initial part.
Not to take spotlight away from FL, but in the ending plot ML wasn't much involved. Hence, I said thought it was kind of bland end-of-series plot.

But, please don't let my prejudices spoil your viewing of this.
