Rewatching it after 3+ years. Probably the best cooking related kdrama.

I've watched only 4 episodes. Put it on hold and haven't picked it up yet.

On basis of that it was kind of good, but not great.

Actually, my comment was sort of praise of the drama as being the 'first' to introduce 'Lucifer's love story'. The other part was just a side note.

Though I do understand now how it could've been interpreted otherwise.

I think this is first Kdrama dealing with Lucifer's love story, albeit Lucifer's description is not 100% correct.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Since, I watched it long time back, I thought had missed out some scenes.

Such a well organized kdrama.

In the initial 10 mins Beom-Woo seems highly capable director. After that I don't know what he turns into, but didn't like the reverse-character-development.

Then last 3 episodes. Underwhelming at best, and inconsistent at worst.

I usually don't drop dramas if they go haywire with storyline, but as a viewer I do deserve a logical resolution, which was missing in episode 7. Due to which I dropped it half-way in episode 7.

Inspite of disparate problems this drama had, it is one of a kind. At least I haven't seen someting similar to this.

All things considered - I liked this one quite a bit.

Maybe they are trying to draw a parallel here between ML and SML (YYS).

SML betrayed FL and avoided contact from there on.
But, ML though will betray FL (him being in countryside with malicious intentions), he will actively try to apologise after-the-fact.

Hence, FL will forgive ML.

They have opened too many loose ends to tie in only 4 episodes. If it was a longer drama, I could've understood their approach. But, not here with 10 episodes!

You can watch till episode 6. It's not boring till then.

That song (on mountains) in penultimate episode is the ultimate best.

1 month to go for Season 3.

Quality wise, it probably is among top 10 Kdramas of all times. It's a healing kind of drama showcasing struggles of people and their ways of coping/enduring/overcoming those struggles.

But, if you are looking for rom-com, fast-paced drama, light-heartedness: you probably won't like it.

Not sure when I can see Hyun Bin in Chaebol role again.
