had a difficult time dealing with the ending .....After thinking about it I chose that killing the psycho didn't…
The teacher was dead. The doctor used his last bullet to shoot the teacher in the face so the cops would think he committed suicide. They realized the switch when they talked to the students in the hospital.
there is two things I really didn't understand. Why did Yoon Su say to the kid that he lied (I mean this sounds…
He lied that he was kidnapped by the nanny. He was jealous of her son and wanted to be him. When the mother fired the nanny, he ran away to her house but his mother thought it was a kidnapping. Then when the nanny hugged her son instead of him, he lied and said it was a kidnapping. This most likely got the nanny locked up and made her kid (the gas attendant we see with the blue birth mark) grow up by himself. That's why he said to the kid "I lied. I guess I wanted to be you." When he remembered everything, he must have realized what he was capable of and instead of doing more evil things down the road, he decided to kill himself.
My ratings would be between 7.5-8/10. I finally got to watch this after years of hesitation. I avoided this drama…
What I got from it was that he viewed the nanny as her mother and was jealous of her son. Since Yoon Su's mom was jealous that he viewed the Nanny as his mother, she fired her. Yoon Su was upset about it so he ran away to the nanny's house. When the nanny hugged her son instead of him, he lied and said he was kidnapped by the nanny. The gas attendant we see at the end (with the blue birth mark) is the Nanny's son.
I absolutely loved Fists of Legend (think it's really underrated), Man in Love and Ode to My Father. I plan to watch Veteran and a Violent Prosecutor. Great article!
This type of story is usually my cup of tea but for some reason I really couldn't get into it. I don't know if it was some of the acting or the pacing of the story but the only scenes I really liked was the last fifteen minutes. Also I felt like there was a loose end with her family's story line that was never tied up.
Wow, this review made me really want to watch it. I'm watching Six Flying Dragons right now which is an amazing show. I was so interested in King Taejong that I ended up looking up shows that were about him. How is the relationship between Queen Wongyeong and King Taejong portrayed? Is there any kind of love between them? Please feel free to spoil me.
When Hong Rim said 'no' I couldn't. I couldn't even. I literally gasped and scream 'SON, YOU GON DIE TONIGHT'.…
Lol watching this in 2015! I wrote this in a previous comment but I think Hong Rim did love the King like a best friend and someone he was grateful too. However he was in love with the Queen. When the King asked him if he ever loved him, he knew the King meant romantically that's why he said no. Also I think he was so angry about the Queen he said no just to spite him. I will say though that I believe the King was genuinely in love with Hong Rim. When he first showed up at the palace and the King was like come sit beside me, I wonder what would have happened if Hong Rim had just sat down. The King probably would have excused him for everything just to keep him.
I had a little question... Hong Rim fell in love with the queen or he always loved the king? '-'
Completely agree with you. I think in the beginning what he thought he felt for the king was romantic love since he had never had the chance to be with someone else. In actuality he probably loved the king as a friend, brother, family, someone who he was grateful to and loyal to; but he wasn't in love with the king. He didn't know that there were different types of love since he had never had the chance to discover that. I think he was in love with the Queen and it was a love he chose for himself. Although I do believe the King was actually in love with Hong Rim. Even to the last second the King tried to give Hong Rim an out.
Absolutely loved this. It was so refreshing with the right blend of fantasy, romance and comedy. Plus I thought that Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doo Joon had so much chemistry!
