Ik you mentioned that other actresses also face similar things—like BL still being under yu zheng’s shadow, and ZLS not being able to do anything against her company. Yeah! I heard she’s thinking about taking on more roles like Prosecution Elite and Sword Rose. But I wouldn’t mind if she did one or two idol dramas in between either

TLOA wasn’t good because the storyline was pretty bad and felt really outdated. Baba did a great job with her role, but when the story itself isn’t strong, there’s only so much an actor can do. I think she took on the drama as a favor to the director or producer.

Tbh, I'm not particularly fond of her not sure why she and YXS are so popular in Thailand. I just think LSS, BL and TXW are prettier and more talented. Might be a bit biased though! my husband likes TXW a lot, so I ended up liking her too.

Baba is trending at no. 4 on Weibo because Hunan TV suddenly posted around 20 Weibo posts about her on their official account. Haha, I have no idea why they did that, but the posts include clips from her past variety shows.

They shared the one where she did the elsa-anna voiceover with a voice artist, another from when when she did a variety show with GJ while promoting the legend of anle, and clips of her playing with the camera while filming divas hit the road. They also posted moments of her as the roman empress, also her dancing on the cruise, and scenes from her drama pretty li huizhen.

I saw some pictures on Weibo claiming to be from the set of the soccer movie, and Baba was definitely in them. It could be a cameo or a supporting role—we can't be sure yet—but she will definitely be part of the movie.

I get that LCG’s character was sometimes naive, but isn’t that the point of character development? Some people criticized her for being ignorant and dumb, but let’s not forget—she was a teenager who had just lost her family, especially her mother, at the hands of her beloved uncle. In such a traumatic situation, who would be able to think rationally or make mature decisions? Her story was about experiencing pain and suffering, finding her own beliefs, realizing the truth, and understanding the power of mercy. Her dynamic with Ashile Sun and how he protected her against all odds was a key part of the narrative.
At the end of the day, what’s so exciting about watching a character who’s already perfect? That would be monotonous.
The forced hate against her at the time seemed more like an attempt to hype up another actress (the supporting one) rather than genuine criticism.
