Yeah I haven't watched the original yet and wasn't able to get myself to complete dew either. And I don't think I'm ever going to watch either of them.

In Dew movie first half had a gay storyline and the second half was straight. but in the original plot the first half was straight and the second half had a gay storyline. I think its just like you said, the writer turned religious and maybe regretted their work on the original.

No the original movie had the same plot that you mentioned. Dew was the opposite of the original movie.

But if the writer had a problem with the movie having a gay storyline then wouldn't they change it. I thought the teacher would be a woman and the one that dies will be a male character and he will reincarnate into jaehyun's character, hence making the plot straight. Or did they cancel the remake because it had a gay storyline?

But I don't think it was going to be a bl since the tags don't mention it. And yes, I too wanted this to happen only for Jaehyun.

I'm glad this movie was cancelled then. I didn't enjoy the original anyway, but that is a very homophobic reason to make a remake.

I have to disagree with what you said about the sleeping on the first night they've spent together alone. It is not that uncommon. Maybe they just want to take it slow. Not everyone thinks about sex all the time. It may also be because Fah was in the other room.
Also I don't think Fah and Prince will kiss in the first episode itself. What they showed at the last ep of Star in My Mind was the trailer for Sky in Your Heart (not the full version).
