minhwan is persistent in pursuing jiwon depite his issues because what? she's the wife material? long time ago someone exactly said the same thing to me. the innoncent me couldn't decide whether twas a compliment or an insult. I didn't think he'd be that low so I wanted to take it as a compliment, but something just didn't sit right. but now thinking back, I realized how disgusting his mind of thinking was. intentionally or not, by saying that they just basically insult every woman, both the woman they thought a wife material and the woman they only wanted to have fun with. it's just a garbage mindset that can't be recycled.
like how come sumin is looking at minhwan with those sparkling eyes when there's mr. yu. like I know probably deep down she can feel that she doesn't stand a chance for a true high quality man. that's what it's called as the law of attraction, where a trash recognizes another trash. like you can convince a fly that flowers are beautiful because all they need is just a trash and every rotten thing.

and we're only on ep 6, there's so much more potential to explore young pill's character for the next episodes after they showed the epilogue of his POV. so even though it's a FL centric, the ML is playing the key role and there will be a screen time to focus on his character.
and it can be personal. but jcw is once again successfully nailed his character imo. I don't always like young pill as a character, he's not flawless. but I'm thankful that this drama has experienced actress and actor as the main leads.
their friendship is so real. like every conversation, the joke, even the small talk, those aren't empty lines. it's so relatable. it makes me feel like I was a part of them and they're like people I know irl. shout out to the writer who successfully makes it alive. it's just a simple detail and I couldn't really grasp it on the previous episodes. I'm glad I don't fail to 'translate' their moments this time.
