but there was this part when I was sobbing and then little han gyul started singing "cheer up, uncle!" when other kids said father. his cute voice made me giggle but that part also bled me even more. so I was crying and giggling at the same time. 😭
all of them hides something. however there's this one character who appears to be the most drama free and innocent, which makes me feel uneasy at some point. everything is possible in kdrama. if I'm wrong, then I'm sorry in advance mr. lee.
even the light romcom with guaranteed happy ending doesn't always have a smooth journey. let alone this kind of mystery involving with life and death. and it's going to take a while to reach the 16th episode. ML isn't always going to get on her way, they'd even openly work together someday. if I were the writer, I'd make someone on her side to cause trouble. otherwise how are they going to fill the story to episode 16? I think that trope is unavoidable. it doesn't have to be mr. lee, the obvious bokhee nor Albert. and maybe there'd be a plot twist that she would be aware of the betrayal/trouble and she'd be in control of everything.
it's been a while since I watch 16 episodes kdrama formula but I remember that episode episode 8-9 is kind of the beginning of the second part. episode 8 is usually when they make it as if the conflict is starting to be resolved. but that's exactly where the real shit is about to go down. the time when the main characters lose and they're at their most desperate moment. episode 9 is where they're getting back to the square one and slowly fighting back again.
I have a feeling that ms. song juran wants to snatch the slush fund herself. no, maybe her obsession is way bigger than that. remember when Nora's mother insulted her because of her humble origin, it looked like there was a fire within her. she had been patiently pressing the button for her boss to go up, she became their doormat for years. next time, she wants her to be the one lifted by the elevator to the top, to the president's office. she wants power for herself.
next time, FL's biggest obstacle might not that old chairman, but ms. song juran after she freed herself from the chairman.
the FL together with the FSS, the ML, Albert and the management risk department, bokhee and the roommates, maybe even the trio sobangcha, they'd fight against song juran and the monetary crisis.
if he were the pirate captain, he might actually familiar with hong keum bo. and he investigated hong jang mi…
yes, it looked like he knew something. maybe he wanted to confirm her identity, like if she was related to the new president then she might be hong keum bo in disguise.
yaaaaas, that too. I think it's true that Albert had a crush on her, but he also had an ulterior motive. he also used the honey trap move 😂
that colleague is a bad guy ... he sells info to enemy...
did you see his eyes movement after Albert's father kicked him and left him? he was definitely in a mission too. I bet he pretended to sell information to Albert's father.
mustachied man ? - which ep, which minute or approximately what scene?
it's on the preview of next week's episode. Albert was seen meeting a guy with moustache and beard inside a car. to me he looks like president kang who didn't groom himself for months.
instead of feeling bad for the ML when the FL had a date with Albert, my heart screamed for mr. Lee 😂
he needs to step up his game. he was too easy to handle. he already fell on the bee's nest, she needed no more effort to honey trap him 🤣 he's a hopeless romantic.
it's a battle between a genius hard worker vs a "lazy" nepo baby. mr. Lee it's time for you to shine again! play a little hard to get or something, don't be a simp 24/7 😭 go ask her out, what was all that perm for btw? trap her in your curls! 😏
I don't believe the agenda of trying to picture Albert as the villain. we shouldn't believe on kdrama cliffhangers and previews. the more it looks so obvious, the more it's far from the truth. usually the truth is the opposite.
Albert is not a simple character. he's on a mission. but he's not the bad guy.
I thought it was just a wild assumption before, but what if the late president kang is still alive? and Albert helped him to cover everything. remember Albert was the first person who called president kang on that day.
mr. eavesdropper is my second candidate for the pirate captain after Albert.
I got the impression that the captain had a one sided beef inside their head with hong keum bo (mr. eavesdropper fits this profile). meanwhile the captain was also most likely hong jami's biggest fanboy (it's definitely Albert).
Albert was also the one who helped jangmi subscribed to it. it could be because he had not used his code if he got no chingu. but it could also be because he was the administrator.
hong keum bo's colleague, the one who eavesdropped and exposed that she was secretly in contact with the late president kang, I don't think that he actually that shallow as he showed. (excuse me since I don't know his name I'm going to start calling him as mr. eavesdropper/mr. eave)
I still believe that ML is most likely yehpee, and mr. eavesdropper could be his informant inside the Financial Supervisory Service. president kang ever said that he had someone on his side around her.
the reason why mr. eave exposed FL's connection with president kang wasn't solely for him to get a promotion but it was also made to intentionally "kick her out" of the team for her own safety because things getting out of control and the other party also had an informant inside the FSS.
and the reason why mr. eave told the information about the spy to Albert's dad wasn't intentionally to mess with his business. Albert's dad wasn't the target but knowing his nature, they expected him to do what he did, investigating trio sobangcha to the core. what came out of the investigation was that it was confirmed that sobangcha couldn't be trusted/they weren't mr. kang's people. I don't know what information exactly the ML was looking for from sobangcha, it seemed there was more important things I couldn't tell. but the investigation results must be helping him getting some ideas.
THIS DRAMA HAS NO BUSINESS TO KEEP MAKING ME SUFFER LIKE THIS!
⚠️ warning!!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️ please don't ever watch this after you have breakfast/lunch/dinner/feast. be careful your full stomach might explode due to laughing out loud.
keep this in mind that this is not food friendly. watching while drinking is not recommended too.
no need to thank me, I'd be glad to help. I don't want anyone to be the next victim.
i always assuming yehpee is the old employee there since they seems like know very much about the company, while…
did you mean the old employee in Albert's team? yeah it's possible.
the thing that made me leaning more towards the ML is, before contacting her, yehpee must confirm that she was the one they could trust the most + that she was also on the same page to target Hanmin. since it was so risky, contacting anybody would ruin their plans. then yehpee passed that information, that FL was their perfect ally to the ex president. and the one who knew the FL the most is the ML.

my gut feeling tells me that winter is coming.

it's still bugging me the way Albert was curious of FL's and ML's conversation in the elevator. I don't think it was as simple as romance jealousy.

who was the mustachioed man that Albert met?
