Beginning started out great but then it went downhill.I don’t need a perfect plot line but at least TRY to make it a little believable. The ending was trash.
Bas and his comedic timing might be the best I have seen in Thai production. “He’s not dying anytime soon but if that happens, I will find you someone better.” He knows how to get Arthit to wake up immediately
Enjoyed the concept but the execution was lacking. First five episodes were good, and I thought the MFL was very real. She was a normal girl grieving for her past relationship. They lost me with the second half. I started to like her character less and less due to her cringe. All I kept thinking was there is NO WAY this guy irl is okay with this. Not only with her being all over the place with her feelings but her immaturity. This behavior is fine for the teen shows like Spirit Fingers, but she was way too old to be acting like that. After that, her romance fell flat. Plot was crazy original though. Not many times we get to see that many good-looking guys in one kdrama.
Excellent drama! One of the best made vertical dramas I have watched. The story and chemistry were fire. Loved that plot line and it was well executed. It wasn't completely crazy. Just girl and a guy doing everything to protect each other.
Absolutely loved it. It was a pretty decent adaptation of the book. I know people complain about the last few episodes but I don’t think understood the politics behind everything. The real enemy of this story was actually never seen. It was the former king and you wouldn’t have recognized that without reading the book first. Thank god I read the book beforehand because it really did help fill in the gaps. Great drama. Definitely give it a watch.
It is not as bad as I thought it would be from the reviews. Just trying to be a little psychological. I thought it was interesting to determine personalities based on sex.
I thought it was pretty freaking good for a vertical drama. Boys had chemistry. They did a good job! People expect too much with plot. They have like 3-minute episodes. Go with the flow and expect the plot holes and just enjoy.
He is too good of an actor to be getting these crappy scripts. If you are going to have a man devoted to a woman that much at least make her worth it. Spoiler…. Skip it if you hate sad endings. Too many other things to watch to deal with that.
Great kiss scenes. The story was dragged a little bit too long and I REALLY needed her to trust him before the final episode. It was okay. Typical vertical drama
To novel reader, how Xie Zheng become so powerful that so many people afraid of him?
It is military power and the fact that he is truly aligned with no one. The people love him so he can sway many. In the book, he was said to have the power to make kings or keep kings. Pretty much whoever he wants to be king everyone else will listen to his choice.
I liked it but I didn’t love it. A lot has to do with timing… I loved Coronor’s Diary and I compared them. CD was definitely heavier on the romance. CD also had better cases. I did enjoy the reversal of genders. Her being the martial arts and him being more scholar was a fun change of pace. Love seeing a girl defending the guy.
Plot was pretty interesting but there are certain plots you shouldn’t do with a short drama. The ending made absolutely no sense and really a lot wasn’t explained.
It needs to be studied on why we all can't stop watching this train wreck. The fact that I finished Season 1 AND STILL came back for Season 2 is crazy. It was hope. Hope is now gone. They will NOT get me for a Season 3.
do with a short drama. The ending made absolutely no sense and really a lot wasn’t explained.
