Preview for ep5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XA_zoVNL7XA my kdrama instinct after the preview... I was like…
Me too. Too bad that our instincts were bad XD We should now already that usually secrets take a loooong time to be known :(
Luckily, Crown Prince already suspects 75% that something is not right.
that moment when you are so confident unraveling the spoiler tag cause you've seen the latest episode but you…
Thanks @elvirad for this information, the web novel ending is a happy ending :) I don't think they are able to kill the Crown Prince in the drama after all the hype they created XD The scriptwriters will need to run away
The next historical gender bender to adapt from web toon / manwha should be Yeonmo (https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=64588). A Crown Prince who is actually a girl disguised as her dead twin brother. Next year...
Am I the only one confused about the real world appearing in the webtoon? I get that Yeon Joo gets dragged into the webtoon and Kang Chul can get out from the webtoon to the outsite world. I found a bit strange the merge between the killer and Mr Oh, but its plausible.
In this episode, we see Kang Chul reading the webtoon (vol 35 gets inside webtoon) and seeing two scenes from the real world: Kang Chul kissing Yeon Joo at the hospital and him talking with Mr Oh. Somehow I thought that only what happens inside W gets to be published. I mean, how can the real world be automatically drawn?
I think the summary is really misleading. Here I add another summary with spoilers from episode 1.
* Summary from episode 1 *
There are two women named Oh Hae Yeong, who were classmates in high school, getting all mixed up in each other’s lives because they share the same name. One Oh Hae Yeong is about to get married but is dumped the day before the wedding. Then there's a man who was dumped by the other Oh Hae Yeong. He soon realizes that there are two Oh Hae Yeong's, and that he had destroyed the wedding of one thinking it was her ex's wedding. Also, he has the ability to see into the future...
I am currently at episode 12. This drama has really funny scenes, I think I have never laughed out so hard while watching a drama, except perhaps for "Marriage, Not Dating". Yet, I have also never felt so sorry for the characters. One is in misery because she shares the name with a high school classmate and the other well...For the time being, I can sympathize with all the characters at some extend, because it is kind of realistic their behaviour whether we like it or not.
This is not a rom-com with some light drama. The drama is strong and it really tackles issues like trust, second changes, humiliation and guilt. The plot and the trailer are really misleading. I'll write a more accurate plot from episode 1 tagged with a spoiler tag.
Umm why is everyone so surprised? I saw it coming from the beginning of the story that Soo Bong was telling Yeon…
I get what you say about the "merging". But to backfire at this level in the REAL world is still shocking to me.
Regarding Yeon Joo coming back to W world, I'm not sure when it was stated that the rule for her to go inside the webtoon is if KC is dreaming or thinking about her. I think she said this inside the prison, after his suicide attempt. I still don't get it completelly, but I guess she can go inside when she fears for KC's life or longs him. Why did she go inside W when the nurse tried to kill him in the hospital? Kang Chul wasn't thinking about her, nor dreaming, but YJ was having an argument with her father about what was murdering. Mmm I don't know.
The problem is that Yeon Joo only erased the memories of Kang Chul, and not the memories of the killer. She should have drawn the killer inside the webtoon in a scene happening just after Kang Chul was stabbed (like a way of trying to go back in time). Now he has the power to control everything, as he knows he is inside a webtoon, therefore he was able to teleport to the broadcast station.
Anyways, it is starting to annoy me a bit all the flashbacks and yet-to-happen scenes. There have been so many in this episode:
1. Yeon Joo father searches for pendrive -> Flashback showing Kang Chul writing the content
2. The cartoon assistant explains to Yeon Joo what is going to happen -> Future scenes that are never going to happen
3. Yeon Joo asks the cartoon assitant "Do you know what I did yesterday?" -> Flashback showing her cutting the comic. Flashback to remember most romantic scenes - I forgive the second, is a must in any drama ;)
4. Yeon Joo travels unexpectly to the hospital and hears about the shooting -> Flashback in real world with faceless father. Flashback in webtoon world with shooting scene.
In episode 8 they showed how Kang Chul had an allucination of SJ get shot. It was unnecessary.
I like all the twists, but it looks as if there are starting to rely too much with the flashbacks/imaginative scenes in order to increase the effect of the plot twists.
PS: Good thing is, that thanks to the killer saying crazy stuff (I have a face! I couldn't met you properly before!), Kang Chul will remember everything :)
One crazy theory about how this drama can have a happy ending, with both Kang Chul and Yeon Joo in the same dimension and live forever ever after:
- Yeon Joo draw the first sketch of Kang Chul, the character who goes to Olympics. What she doesn't remember, though, is that she takes into account the looks of a random guy she found by change at the bus stop.
- Kang Chul is in a really deep comma and thanks to the webtoon he can somehow live while he does not wake up. He doesn't remember anything about his past before the car accident, only the purpose Yeon Joo's father gave to him.
OK, I know, I know, this is similar to the twist plot of another drama :)
PS: I really don't want this to happen, it wouldn't make sense at all lol
I have the feeling we will get memory loss all over the place when Kim Hyun Ji wakes up from her coma. That if she is in a coma, but I think this a fact :)
P.S.: Can't wait to see In Rang seeing Hyun Ji XD It will be hylarious.
eps 5-6 were so much worse.. i paused it all the time. but i hope it'll get interesting again since they're back…
Ok, so I actually watched episode 6, it is the one in which I jumped to the end scenes. Anyways, the thing is I'm not looking forward to episode 7 with high expectations :/

Yes, right? I just watched the ending of episode 5 - skipping the part where they save her father and all this until she and the webtoon assistant try to save him. I don't feel like watching episode 6. I don't know why. Maybe I feel that the writers have spent all the awesomeness in the first four episodes or that I want to hold it in order to not wait week by week for a new episode. I don't know ^^''
Luckily, Crown Prince already suspects 75% that something is not right.
Imagine Kang Chul running into Yeon Soo's boss - the doctor fan of W - and he sees himself in the webtoon... That would be epic xD
