Title Bring It On, Ghost Spoiler
some of the scenes in this drama really frustrated me, for example: 1. the first scene in episode 8 were the professor…
Regarding the how quickly she changes from uniform to dress, in episode 8 Bong Pal mentions this. After they catch the butcher ghost and Bong Pal and Hyun Ji go back together, she is already wearing the pink dress. Bong Pal says something similar to: "Oh, you have already changed? I guess it's easy since you're a ghost".
It seems that once clothes are burnt for them to wear, ghosts can change clothes whenever they want. Maybe it does not make a lot of sense, I guess they just made up this in order to show her in pink dress more often.

This drama was short, but nice!

I've read somebody here asking if there are more reverse gender benders. Not in Asia, but there are many American movies that have a man disguising as a woman. There is a long list in Wikipedia of movies with cross-dressing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-dressing_in_film_and_television .

Comedy (man disguised as woman):
- Mrs. Doubtfire (a modern classic, starring Robin Williams)
- Some Like It Hot (another classic, from 1959)
- Tootsie
- Anything for Love (the only one set in a high school from this list)
- Nuns on the Run

Comedy (woman disguised as man):
- She's the Man (set in a high school)
- Just One of the Guys (set in a high school)
- Shakespeare in Love

i just thought i will watch it but then i saw in the trailer how the main guy gets beaten uo even though he just…
Is it for the fact that she punches him in the face in the trailer? Have you watched the first episode? I think the situation is quite understandable: A random guy (the main guy) in a bus stop approaches you and shows / gives you a white hair pulled from his nose... I don't know, her reaction seems quite fair.

That being said, from I've seen of the drama I don't think Romance will take a big part it.

I recommend giving a try to the first two episodes, I liked them.

TO THOSE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE AGE GAP: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? I don't really think age is an issue when it comes…
Hi again,
Ok. Just a few points:
- There is no need for fans of the drama to come to the conclusion that real actors are in a relationship. Sometimes fictional characters can also be seen as models. Again, we don't even know if there will be a romantic relationship.
- We don't know the age of the male lead in the drama. We could make some assumptions, but we don't know it.
- Not trying to say fans would go to the street trying to hook up 30 yo man as you literally say. There is a gap between the possibility of what we see on TV slowly changing one's principles and this.

"I am pretty sure the Korean teenage girls will still rather fantasize to be Candy, not Lolita :P (if you know what I mean)..."

Did you really need to add "if you know what I mean"? But, as it seems I didn't explain myself well, I will follow your example: I was talking about teenage girls thinking (not fantazising) is okay to be in a relationship with a grown-up man, not fantazising to be Lolita.

I do not try to blow up anything or start a long serious discussion. I just was trying to rationalize why I, despite knowing beforehand her career, still do care a little about the age gap of the actors.

Shall we stop the discussion and enjoy the drama? :)

TO THOSE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE AGE GAP: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? I don't really think age is an issue when it comes…
I completely agree with what you said, Kim Sae Ron has played many tough roles (abandoned child, sexually abused child and so on) so the role is this drama is no deal for her. However, somehow I feel a bit uncomfortable with the age gap in this drama. Why? Due to different context, purpose and target audience.

I still haven't watched "A Brand New Life", but in the description says the plot is inspired on the filmaker's own childhood. The procuders needed to cast a 8 years-old child actress for obvious reasons. The movies you mentioned deal with serious real life issues and people - mostly adults - who watch them do so with a critical mindset. Usually one of the purposes of these type of movies (the ones that are screened in big Festivals) are to bring awareness of difficult social topics usually hidden or to tell deep life messages through one story.

However, this drama is light-weight, has romance and many teenagers will see it. I don't mind if both male and female leads are 25-something years-old actors portraying characters that are 17, or two 17 years-old actors portraying a couple. Also, I don't mind age gap in itself like in "Marriage Contract". What bothers me is that teenagers watching this drama, who already idiolize actors, will see (probably, drama hasn't finished yet) an actress with their age (around 15 and 17) in a relationship with a 29 years old man (well, because we know fans will search the age of the actor they like). Given the popularity of Korean dramas, they might see this as a normal situation.

All in all, I think the drama has just started and we are thinking too much about this. Nonetheless, both positions are valid (care or not care) with their arguments and to me this is not an anti-underage casting campaign. Even if it was, I don't like the tone of some people. Hey, I already knew this actress appeared in heavy movies and I think her skills are excellent, so I did do my homework.

P.S.: I will watch the drama anyway.

I just started Nobunaga Concerto, and I love it! I don't know why I hadn't watched it sooner, being a time traveler stories lover :)

I absolutely second what it is said in this article, in J-Dramas all actors, even supporting ones that only appear few minutes on screen, portray a genuine character. I feel refreshed to recognise faces or see good performances from actors that appear in just one or two episodes. (Well, Nobunaga Concerto seems a big production, but anyways this still applies for many other J-Dramas I used to watch in the past.)

I hope this turns out to be funny and that there's no romance... The main actress is just too young.
Well, at least the main actors are 22 and 16...In Mirror of the witch (http://mydramalist.com/16997-mirror-of-the-witch) the main male and female are 29 and 15.
I like both girls as actress and I think they have a long way to go, but also think that they should wait a little bit to hire them for a romance drama where the main couple are grown ups. Let's see what they offer.

I love how the drama did not end with a funeral scene :_)
Yes, we all know she'll die eventually, but at least the drama ended with a happy scene and a positive quote. This way I can have a good memory of it.
I have one thing that keeps bothering me: how did Ji Hoon pay the house? He told his father that he could live without working at the company. Where does he work? This is not the point of the drama, but I'm curious.

Good drama, bad ending.
Who is the main guy? :) We have Yeong Soo and Gi Tak. Both of them "die" again as they have spent their three extra months in Earth. As for the Lee Hae Joon that appears at the end, that's the real man. It is clear as they show him eating algae and reading the letter from Yeong Soo.

I agree with you. More than bad ending, it was an ending that said nothing to me. I don't know, everybody just forgets about Gi Tak and that's it? I didn't care for the rest. Also, why would they want to finish the drama with a scene of "real" Gi Tak and Lee Hae Joon? We don't care about them at all! I would have loved to see them meet in Heaven :_(

Finally Ya Nuo told Zi Feng that she is a girl in next ep! XD
The next episode will start with: "This secret... I can only tell you in 30 days/on my birthday/soon". What she says in the preview - "Zifeng, I'm a girl. A girl from head to toe. I love you" - is just her imagination about how she will tell him her secret.

Well, that is just my bet, only saying this so we don't get high expectations :(

Yes, I think it is Moo Hyul because he appears in the posters, but I don't remember they actually said he's the sixth dragon like they did for the others in the first episodes. Did they tell us in the drama itself who is the sixth?

Don't worry, your comment was marked as a spoiler but in my short despair of not finding episode 20 I wanted to know the feelings of the ones that had watched it xD

Yes, I remember the mother saying this, but in dramas you never know so I didn't give it much importance. I didn't know their ages :o First time I heard about them. Anyway, althought is hard to believe that there are two people looking exactly the same, I guess your theory is more plausible than them being twins and both of them (and their whole family) having amnesia :)

About episode 20. First: the little girl in the end is really cute. Second: I read @MinaVIP spoiler about Mi Yeon's suicide before starting to watch the episode (well, because I stupidly wanted to read it) so I spend all the episode telling Mi Yeon's to chear up and not to be so depressed... yes, I felt sorry for her. Third: What about the theory of Eun Ha and Byun Ji Sook being twins? There is that flashback of planting a tree for Eun and talking about Noona's death... It's not really important for the main plot, but I hate that they (the scriptwriters) just "forgot" about it.
