I re-watched I Love You Man (Paul Rudd & Jason Segel) the other week and thought, man it would be nice to see another bromance like that on screen. Then came along this kdrama! The bromance in ep5 was so good from going halfsies on marinated crab and SSH being able to tell that Hyung Geun was crying to Jung Shik taking good pics of him. LOL, hilarious!!! I love the close and funny relationship they have with each other.
I feel like this drama does such a great job of lightening up or transitioning from the more serious moments. Like in ep4? when SSH and Jung Shik left Hyung Geun’s apt with his knives.
I honestly didn’t like this drama at first and skipped around a lot (fast-forwarded) but I loved the ending of ep4 where Choi Jun begged to work there. So I went back and watched it all from the beginning and was able to connect the dots. I wonder who killed the sister, it didn’t seem like an accident. It would be too obvious if it was Gi Yeong’s stepmom.
Since Poong the Joseon Psychiatrist, I’ve been wanting to see more kdramas where they solve a different case every episode or every other episode. So I love to see it here too. It deff makes for a much smoother pace vs feeling dragged out.
There’s so much to say about this episode! I feel so bad for Hyung Geun! He obviously still loves his wife and he didn’t really do anything wrong, maybe just realized too late how much his previous work was affecting their marriage. And idk, the baby daddy seemed like he was off maybe cheating instead of “at work” while his baby mama needed him… tucking his shirt and all when arriving to the emergency room.
I’m glad Choi Jun seems innocent. I got worried when he was back at the Keumhwa office being asked to spy on SSH.
Idk if anybody’s mentioned this yet today, but… I’m actually all for the FL’s best friend and Jae-Woo’s relationship now lol At first I thought the writer was going to leave it as a comedy relief scene after he called her gross, but then it kept going continuing on into the next episode and I didn’t like it, but now.. I think it makes sense. It’s cute, they’re cute 🥰
Me too. So much that I skip those parts. So far it hasn’t changed my understanding of this show lol I‘ve still guessed everything correctly when it comes to the murderer side of the story. And I haven’t had to go back to suffer thru their scenes because I felt like I missed something.. I’m surprised actually. Pleasantly lol
Yeah I feel like the orange brown color of his pen will be a part of the mistake cuz why else would they gave…
I’m not sure what the ink color foreshadows, but it’s definitely the same pen that sam gave Dong Hui’s sister in ep6. When sam used it while tutoring, the ink was black. So it must be Dong Hui’s fave pen and refills the ink often.
The only thing I don’t get so far is why the killer shot up Haeng Seon’s shop at the end of episode two WITH sam inside… 1) She wasn’t yet a threat nor did she do anything to hurt sam or his reputation. 2) If the killer was sending a warning for whatever reason, why would he do that while sam was inside?! I don’t get that. Theories, anyone? Can’t wait for this weekend’s episodes!!!

I’m really loving all the main characters so far!
Also.. so cute how he goes on the camping trip with them (based on next ep’s preview)
