The only flaw in this film is that it’s too short; it should have been longer to better develop the relationship between Jinu and Rumi. Otherwise, it’s a very good movie.What I liked most is that it showcases the best era of K-pop, with 3rd-generation music rather than 4th or 5th generation tracks that are often more “trendy” but feel less authentic. There is a clear nostalgic vibe throughout, especially in the outfits, colors, and overall aesthetic. Everything feels very intentional and true to that older era, without falling into black-and-white dark visuals or overly edgy modern styling.

as i said it improves with each episode. The plot is more engaging, and for me it has strong pacing and narrative structure, along with solid acting.

If you’re unsure, I actually wrote a review of the drama you can check out. At first, when I started watching it, I liked it but wasn’t fully hooked. However, as the episodes went on, I realized I was getting really invested.

I really enjoyed the characters: they’re not perfect, they all have flaws, but that’s exactly what makes them so likable. The story is interesting, it doesn’t drag or go in circles, and it deals with some pretty solid themes.

As for the love triangle, I agree with you it’s the only negative point I noticed, but it doesn’t overshadow the story, which is a good thing. You almost end up forgetting it’s even there.

trust me it's a waste of time , I’m usually the first to enjoy light, comedic dramas and easygoing vibes, but here everything feels too superficial with no real depth. For example, right now Sold Out on You is much better in my opinion it has a solid narrative structure, strong acting, a good atmosphere, and still manages to bring depth.

I’ve watched the two episodes so far, but honestly it feels very generic like something I’ve seen many times before. The acting isn’t great either; it comes off a bit too exaggerated for my taste, and the ml feels kind of stiff. There’s not much to say about it so far, nothing really stands out or leaves a strong impression.

Thinking back on it, it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this excited and so hooked on a k-drama especially for a romance. I feel like in recent years they’ve all been so bland, but this one really stands out.

The acting and voice of Shin Hye Su remind me so much of So Ye Ji ♡

Yes, but from my perspective, compared to the rest of the cast, she seems older than everyone else, that’s all.

You’re the only one who understands and interprets things the way you want. I’m not going to waste my time on this believe whatever you want.

I actually had the time to observe it more carefully, and even the hairstyles make a difference. The female lead is given a more aging hairstyle, while the others have things like braids or generally more flattering styles. I know her outfit is traditional, etc., but in the moment, it doesn’t really help the overall perception.

And in general, people can be the same age but still look very different. One can appear younger, another older. It’s just an observation. There are people in their 20s who can look 30 or 40, and others who look much younger.

Yes, but she definitely appears younger than the female lead and comes across as being around 26 or 27.

I’m simply pointing out the mismatch between her age and the character, that’s just an observation.

And calling it hypocritical to keep watching? Sorry, but wanting to give a show a fair chance before forming a more informed opinion isn’t hypocrisy, it’s just a normal and reasonable approach. Honestly, that reaction feels a bit strange to me.

I’m familiar with the actress and have seen her in many roles, and I feel like in this one her talent is being underused and doesn’t come through as strongly. That’s why I’m saying an actor isn’t necessarily suited for every type of role. Also, last time I checked, you can appreciate an actor without loving every single performance, that’s kind of the point. An actor can either stay within a similar type of role or explore different ones, and that’s exactly where you see the range and depth of their craft.

I’m not criticizing her appearance, I’m commenting on the casting choice for this specific role. It’s purely an observation based on the character, and I would have said the same thing regardless of who was cast. And yes, I’ll keep watching because I want to see how it develops before forming a final opinion.

My perspective is valid, and if you don’t agree, that’s fine, but that’s not my problem. You’re the one attacking me and acting like I’m being hostile, when in reality I actually like the actress. Right now, your response comes off as immature. People should be able to accept that others can have different opinions, especially when I haven’t shown any hate or hostility.

Also, stop getting offended for no reason or reacting as if I insulted someone you personally love, it’s honestly exhausting. You need to manage your sensitivity a bit better. We’re not in elementary school here.

Even if she’s 30, she honestly looks closer to 40… unfortunately, it’s quite distracting, but I’ll try to overlook it. It’s still a bit strange that she’s 30 while most of Shin Seo Ri’s colleagues look younger.
