personally, i'm still enjoying this drama but i can see why the ratings dropped a bit. i think they should've spent a little more time building their relationship in the beginning so theres a stronger reason as to why hes enduring all of this for her through 3 lifetimes. 36 eps is pretty short for this type of plotline lol
watching this casually & enjoying it for what it is so far, but tbh, its just okay. i thought it was going to be a bit more serious (from the trailer haha) it seems a bit inconsistent in those terms but looks like itll be picking up around ep 12.
omg i didn't realize she was the sfl in miss the dragon! her acting has improved so much from when we were young :'-) i'm really enjoying her as the second lead in mtd right now <3
the final episode was so heartbreaking, lol (´;_;`) a question about the open ending: what do you think happened to prince bo/wolfie?
was there actually an antidote, or did she lie to him? originally, i interpreted the final scene of him standing there with the butterfly as them being together in the afterlife, but i realized if they were, she'd be shown there too. instead its just him, making me think that he probably lived at the mountain where they met, alone until he died from the poison.
AH THAT WAS SO GOOD!!! Ended up binge-watching it, desperately need Sleep but I need to yell about how it exceeded…
aaaaaah it really does outweigh the angst! like it feels really worth it when we get those bits of fluff. i also really adored xuan ji despite all the hate she got too!
i feel like it would've been good if they ended the show by wrapping up the prince of cao + zhuo jinniang conflict. that would have been satisfying enough? everything else, esp the love triangle(s), feels really unnecessary haha
i'm still enjoying it for what it is though, but it just feels odd to add those last min conflicts.
Why is there no Prime Minister or any other high ranking officials at court?! I'm on episode 30, and I feel so…
lmaooo this is so funny, yeah i can't help but feel like prince of cao is such a loser and his schemes go no where. how does he not face any consequences in 30 eps?! lmao
i won't say FL can't act (this is my first time watching her) but she definitely could have been written better... :-( after all the trauma shes been through, it doesn't really make sense for her to be so naive/dumb. ML's acting is good though, i think they'd match better if she was slightly more mature while keeping her witty/cleverness! i'm still keeping up though bc the story is actually pretty interesting imo
Wang You Shuo's acting is so wooowww, the drama was worth watching for WBQ and FX alone. They were really cute/natural together and their scenes were a lot more interesting than the main couple's (not that I didn't enjoy theirs either) Kiki and WYS did really well!
