i think she feels that if he finds out she is the daughter of the woman he hates, he may not like her....just…
i mean it's understandable but even her own mother disowned her... and she and her mother are very different, i think XX would perfectly understand not connecting children to their parents, since he thinks separate from his parents as well.. and ZW knows that he separates himself from his family, so why should he not separate her from her (even disowned) family? (if she was honest)
Something I don't get, she already knows XiXiao hates this woman as much as her... why does she have to keep her plans secret from him? (aka deceiving him??) they could just team up and perfectly take revenge together, I mean their goals align, no? It's so unnecessary for her to "use" and potentially hurt him
hmm it's def not a bad adaptation (so far) but i wish they would portray Sun in more depth. 1. i think they made his character too soft in the series vs the manhwa and 2. without all those internal monologues, a lot of things don't really make sense unless you know the story. I mean they did try to explain some things, but i wish they'd portray his character with the same complexity as in the original story, and not just some "reckless rebel" dude.
On the positive note, i think the cast is really amazing! How did they find actors who look like they jumped out straight from the manhwa??
THIS IS SO ORIGINAL i swear this is such an interesting concept and executed in such a funny way!! (i just wish they'd make the FL look less goofy lol)
BAHAHA this is absolute peak π I just started it, no clue where this story will go, but the only thing I don't like so far is that they made the FL look so goofy π like seriously, most girls like this are just normal looking people π (and sometimes quite attractive even!) considering that this might be exactly their target audience, they shouldn't portray the FL in such a laughable way :(
your review made me watch it and I'm so thankful for that!! ππ» It's been on my watchlist for ages but i was undecided wether to give it a chance or not. I'm so glad i did!! π
literally had to force myself to finish it lmao, it started off pretty good i'd say but oh boy... the ending is…
also, I've never seen such passionless, floppy kisses like ever π I get that they were going for the cute romantic vibe, but literally zero chemistry / passion, like kissing a brick wall π makes me wonder if they even liked each other π₯²
literally had to force myself to finish it lmao, it started off pretty good i'd say but oh boy... the ending is so bad (especially the editing, at that point i didn't even care about the story anymore xD). I'm not sure wether I should laugh or cry, I feel like story wise, it wasn't bad per se, but the execution really was ππ
I'm a bit confused, didn't they mention that they both had girlfriends? what happened to them? why does it just get thrown into when there's no further elaboration on it? felt a bit weird since it seemed like they had 0 interest / feelings for their partners??
tbh it was the whole dog conflict that came totally out of nowhere that threw me off how to rate it. Up to then,…
frr it would've been zero issues if he had told him the moment he woke up, or at least when he saw the picture! sure they'd be sad, but at least it would be like "oh well, but thanks to the dog this guy's alive now" and move on! Ain't no way he'd hold a grudge for literally being saved?? π but keeping it a secret was so unnecessary!
BROOOOO I've never been so conflicted and confused what π How do I even rate this?? Okay first things first: Cinematography = amazing 10/10 Actors / Acting = amazing !!! 10/10 Storyline = quite original, interesting concept! 8/10 Pacing = ABSOLUTE GARBAGE π 0/10 Storytelling = bad π 0/10 Music choice = 0/10 !! I'd give the production 1/10 (the one is for the beautiful shots)
like.. the concept is beyond beautiful, i really like the characters and their dynamic. The atmosphere is just breathtaking, the food, nature, bestest friend character, really, everything is absolutely amazing! But the way they paced and produced it is just absolutely horrendous π It would be much better if they'd put everything in a movie instead, and not rush / cut it so weirdly. Also no need for all the plot twists and trauma dump, it was already great the way it was π
So yeah, production left me a bit stunned lol, such a wasted potential π₯²
