I haven't watched the first ep (yet) but I see musician Gene Kasidit in the photos (the blonde with the sequined top). They're not listed in the cast or crew, but are they involved in the music? If so it might be worth watching for that alone.
Sooooo let me get this straight…you know your dad is a thug and murderer…and you ran away from home…and…
yeah it kinda felt like the screenwriters just needed a quick way for them to get caught because there weren't enough eps left for a better, more organic conclusion to their little vacation from dad. So to expedite things, they had to act foolishly.
I watched it twice and laughed because it's clearly a *still photo* of a dog actor (because you can't train a dog not to pant when it's hot), just laying there covered with fake blood, its clearly living eyes looking behind the camera at its trainer. That face says, "Treat?"
the promise want to follow netflix korean drama style split into 2, and few months apart...
For me the issue is there are so many BL series coming out right now that in a month I'm gonna start forgetting what happened in the first 5 eps (because I'll have watched a *lot* of other weekly, ongoing series in the interim) and I don't have the time or patience for a rewatch to refresh myself. I plan to keep watching this, but it's gonna be bumped down in priority compared to shows I'm "fresher" on watching, if that makes sense.
I wonder if part of the funding process for this show involved giving would-be sponsors' grandchildren parts in it. It would certainly explain the preponderance of children.
I didn't end up liking Cutie Pie (I only finished it for Nuer & Syn) but my issue was with the writing, not the acting. So I'm actually kinda excited to see Zee & Nunew in something different (I'm just hoping it's with different writers).
I wish this site wasn't so biased against J dramas. Oh well..
Sadly, finding raws & subs (even when links are provided to them-- no hunting required!) is *still* too much effort for a lot of viewers when they can just hit a button on their remotes and have Netflix show them a thousand different K-dramas. But... in a way it makes the J-drama fandom more dedicated, I feel.
Basically I just have to remind myself of the obvious K-drama bias of this site and take a lot of things with a grain (or a block) of salt when it comes to people's opinions on J-dramas.
I enjoy a good sex scene. Does that make me a terrible person? I have no idea. But, oh lord, I have never seen…
Yeah. I get that they're trying to convey a sort of frenzied passion but the way it's acted it seems more like a zombie attack (lunging for the neck, clawing at the body, etc.).
Y'know, this isn't as bad as I thought it would be considering the property's track record. It helps that its main focus is the new pairing because I definitely didn't want to see the original 3 couples' stories hashed out a 3rd time. Here they're basically side characters whose backstories we already know, and that's fine by me. Maybe I'm damning it with faint praise but I expected a trainwreck and this is... just "okay."
Me reading the synopsis: Hot damn it IS about cannibals, count me in
