There are so many people from different countries who couldn't watch this series on YouTube so how is it gonna…
It's always paid streaming platforms first. They get a chip in of distribution early bc they want you to pay for it during the height of hype. Where streaming platforms don't pick up is where YouTube comes in. So if Gaga takes the distribution reins, you have your payable platform to watch it on right away. Some shows are only free at international status on YT after a month, when the hype has died down. If it is good enough to be revisited, it's worth the wait and get it's secondary rewatches. ...or just find other means of seeing it quicker. The choice is yours. Join the hype, wait, or yarhar your treasure. ๐ฌ
Theories on whether it's a sad ending or happy ending?
I want something bittersweet. It may be a constant learning curve, but they continue working together to get through the best and worst of times. That is the most realistic good ending I really see for these guys, never fully healed but always there for each other.
Overall, good show...but damn they dropped the ball with the time jumps. I would have liked more time dedicated to the pregnancy arcs and Gao Tu and Shen Wanglang in general. But hey, at least we have crazy enigma Hua Yong and a (for the most part) decent omegaverse story to look back on.
I just saw the preview and omg I canโt wait ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฅI canโt believe desire is almost at its end.. I remember…
Girl, last week there were a total of 5 shows of interest (including this) airing all on Saturday. Watch some catchup with Khemjira and/or newly airing Wicked Game. (Supernatural story and bodyguard/revenge story.) Shows may not fill the ABO void, but they'll make a new one to make you not think about this show wrapping up. From experience, we know the routine. :))
To anyone wondering why episode 8 is so long, I'm going to assume it has to do with the business side of things; local television blocks, times, and negotiations particularly have a lot to do with it. The set number of episodes for Khemjira is 12. That is probably contract written it will air on television for 12 weeks. That said, work arounds can be done to still accommodate to that set contract. If the original projection was to only produce 12 episodes and air on TV for 12 weeks, you can't do more than that...but if there was more material to work with, one thing you can potentially do is negotiate with channel broadcasters to have a longer time slot. In a sense, (and only to be assumed,) the episode was longer so they could air more content for cable watchers while simultaneously not cutting anything for international fans in the set number of episodes the show is limited to via written contract. Khemjira will only be 12 episodes, yes, but the longer runtime promises story details won't be cut. (Imagine what would be cut down or moments scrapped entirely from this episode or future episodes had they kept it at 1 hour and 10 minutes while still maintaining quota at 12 weeks...) Negotiations probably also went through bc Khemjira was so successful and the broadcasting station knew people would tune in so why not. A record breaking win for the channel with audience viewership, a win for Domundi as the production team, and a win for fans who want more Khemjira content. So...thank whoever at Domundi recommended more episode runtime and insisted we needed more love for Khemjira. They are really looking out for the show as a whole for the audience! ๐
Based on show patterns, I have hope because they ended the episode with SWL going into mini man panic mode, next week will pick up immediately where this episode leaves off. Unless that happens, the show needs an extension of episodes or runtime bc they ain't meeting a worthy criteria of balance for the second couple. And idc if this is more content than the novel. Something about it all feels underdone unless a quick wrap-up is the order on the plate. The wait has me shivering more with worry than anticipation. So, for the sake of viewers, let's hope they pick up where they leave off after today's episode...
Anyone still trying to figure out if they want to watch this, it is good. Characters and plot, head scratching and slow burn in a fine sense. Just make it through the overly done fighting sequences (arguably the worst part) and everything else, completely worth it.
Could technically count as a spoiler, but death brings the worst out of loved ones. It's messy and a war of entitlement. Always document proof along the way, but don't be surprised if you don't get something when you didn't account for paperwork or pictures. No one believes you without it. It's nasty but a tale as old as time. :( As for actual spoilers...what did Jinga do to be merked like that? Man came to durian farm, got with the durian guy, continued farming, technically got hitched, and taken out by his new brother-in-law. Imo, sure it may have been to tell a tragic end to his story, represent the innocents effected in the crossfire...but I genuinely believe his death was overkill on the shock value. Especially after what they heavily implied with the "future child". And with how the movie ended, it made me really question if he meant anything to Thongkam, leaving behind their memento. Was the motive actually love or "you reminded me of him" the entire time? Truly, everyone suffered immensely in this movie...yet that death was a bit hamfisted to me.
Whoever is here, STILL watching, thinking human morals exist in an Omegaverse story...lol, sorry to disappoint, but you're not getting a semblance of those in this universe.
That was the whole draw of this show for a majority in the first place: something that could only make sense on old internet forums and fanfiction was being adapted as a REAL piece. Is it moral or make basic sense? No, never was to begin with. At best, Omegaverse is a "what if this world was our world but had hierarchy in biology and animalistic af instincts were always expected?"
...yes, you have reached that side of the internet. Welcome.
ABO Desire is surprisingly tame compared to....most stories out there. However, if you are still interested, there is only one other live action with these dynamics (with two seasons) called Pit Babe. Is it good? Well...let's just say I'd take Desire over Pit Babe anyday. Have a nice day. :)
i'm new to thai dramas. i saw that sea and jimmy has done many projects together.. is this normal for on screen…
Japan is more than often of a one and done with their pairs. Though the rest of Asian dramas sell shows with their pairs, GMMTV emphasizes on branding their couples as fixed. So, JimmySea (this couple) is it's own brand of content. Easier to merchandise and helps collect numbers on who to keep together onscreen for future projects. Imo, very predictable and enjoyable for those who like predetermined couple endgames...like myself. Hope that kinda helps. :)
Just a theory with how much Calvin wears the color blue...but do you think he is the Blue Prince's son who "died" and was hidded away like Khanin? Prince's son was mentioned to been around Khanin's had he still been around, Calvin's father is present but not seen, and the time spent with Khanin gives me the impression there could be an easy formed betrayal later. It's not confirmed sure, but the little things feels like a plausible throw from left field in the future.
Lee Jonggi is such a stand out in this show. I'm not too far in, but I actually hold my breath every time he has screen time. His presence is that demanding!
I'm really, really hoping that Aou's fake tan doesn't look bad in the video. Because in the photos it looks so…
Can confirm from rigorous makeup classes in college, stage/set lighting helps a lot when making thick makeup look lighter. It'll definitely be a tan, but not as heavy in show as we are seeing in behind the scenes shots.
