I hope in a few years when Leo’s older and his mom lets him do kiss scenes, he and Dilraba can do a modern drama. Don’t let this chemistry go to waste!
I made sense to have an open(ish?) ending for GeSun. After all their story was never a typical romance at the beginning/not a romance at all. Chang Ge had lost her family and wanted revenge and at one point probably wanted to kill Sun too. It was about keeping their people safe. Their romance was always interrupted because of this. Their work had to be done before they could fully pursue the romance. And now that everything is over, they can ^^
Leyan and Hao Du were meant to be romantic. They were set up to be happy woman/cold man trope. So for them to get married and pregnant (wtf director! I need a special episode since you cut that part) made sense. The weight of responsibility wasn’t as heavy for this couple as it was for GeSun.
Yes, I wanted a acne with Chang Ge and Sun together in the end, or maybe someone referred to Chang Ge as Sun’s wife (or Sun as Chang Ge‘s husband I’m not picky lol). I just hope the director releases that episode with if material that they cut.
BUT in the end, everyone is happy. Still one of the best dramas I have seen so far.
That ending...Was Change Ge waiting for A’Sun? Or the other way around? I know the manhua was never finished, but isn’t it safe to say that in the end, they’d get married? I mean, why couldn’t they even be in the same scene together?
Maybe it’s caused I just skipped to the end, but just implying that they might be together with that last scene isn’t worth everything Chang Ge and A’Sun went through.
I dont think its the age probleme. Dylan Wang is paired with Qin Lan who is 20 years older than him and I'm pretty…
That does make sense since his mom is his manager I think. But if he plans on doing more dramas in the future he’s going to have to kiss eventually. The cop out is disappointing but I’ll take it lol
I find that so ridiculous considering how we have 18-20 year old female celebrities doing full kisses with guys…
Yes! I can’t believe how much I relate to your post. Up till now, ELOD was also my favorite Dilraba drama, but I think this one showcases her talents better. And the chemistry is exquisite
I really do think that this is Dilraba’s best drama to date. Drama isn’t even done yet and I’m thinking about when I’m going to rewatch it.
Also I read that there’s only going to be that one cop out kiss between Chang Ge and Sun because of the age difference. But I don’t know how reliable this info is.
wanna know if manhua has eng translations/scanlations. also do we get a happy ending and is there some kind of…
There’s a little romance, but unfortunately the author is fighting to get the story back from her publisher so there’s no ending yet. The drama will make up their own ending. I read it here: https://mangakakalot.com/read-ii1sb158504884465
Dilraba is the perfect choice for the lead because the manhua deals with the Turks, Uygher, and the Han Chinese. Changge is half Uygher! Just finished reading the manhua, can’t wait to watch this drama!
There's another book about the continuation of Dijun and Fengjiu's lives. It's called "The Pillow book of Samsara".…
Actually it’s just a reprint of The Pillow Book since the rights expired with the previous publisher, not a sequel. However, in Mo Yuan’s story “The Bodhi Fate,” Dong Hua has a new son (only a month old). It was during a Q&A that the author Tang Qi said that if Dong Hua and Feng Jiu had another kid, it would be a girl.
