Not sure if this line is original, but on top of everything else, I really like how epi 11 incorporated Lung Tong’s save-the-earth project and him saying at the end that he as one man may not be able to change the world but the world also can’t change him. ❤️
Mixed bag:Tu is brilliant, esp. because it's her first acting role. The way complex emotions play out in her face…
@lilili Bright has that elusive x-factor that separates A-listers from the rest of them. And I completely agree that because of that, his acting is secondary because people just like watching him light up their screens. That includes me to some extent. I find his acting bad in 2gether but I just live with it because I was hooked. But ya, if I were to eveluate on acting alone, stripped of everything else, I’ll say Bright’s acting skills leaves much to be desired. I hope he improves.

I’m mostly with you. Acting wise, no complaints about the supporting casts’. Tu for her first acting role did well I feel. Nani I think captures his character’s wild energy well too and I find that he does possess some natural acting talent. He seems at ease and can carry his role. Win I also don’t quite buy into his playboy demeanour yet. It still feels very cardboard but his character hasn’t really gotten much of the spotlight so far. I think his acting so far is only so-so.
I also agree that Bright has the look and charisma that’s fitting of his character Thyme, whch just means it could hv been really good if his acting was strong. I guess this is wher we disagree a bit. I do feel Bright’s acting is inconsistent. He does ok in most of the scenes but when it comes to the ones that need more from him, I find his portrayal often comes out feeling very awkward and like you feel him tryinb but not achieving the desired outcome. This may be an unpopular opinion but I found his acting in 2gether to be below average. His acting here has improved somewhat but still not great. And then we hv Dew. He is definitely the weakest link acting wise and I guess its reasonable to cut him some slack since its his first time acting ever. But then when I look at Nani and Tu, I just can’t help thinking he’s not ready. He needs more time in acting school. Its really very amateurish and as likeable a character as Ren is, I can’t help but wonder how much better it cldve been in the hands of a more competent actor. This is really me talking only of his acting ‘cos he does look good and all and has a likeable vibe. But ya, he makes Bright look like an acting pro.
Epi 12 is watchable but I find it the weakest epi so far. Does anyone else feel the same? Mainly ‘cos I think a few of the subplots are a bit of a stretch in logic or realism. The one where the girls got kidnap especially. Questions keep coming up in my head as I watch the development. To name a few: P’bomb can see what’s happening and the van taking them where etc on a tv screen. How? Then he said seeing how dangerous the situation is, he needs to rescue them instead of calling the police because the latter might be too late. err really? It doesn’t seem normal/natural. The confrontation with the gangsters felt so lame. The other subplot I think isn’t realistic is the one at songpol’s cafe where his friend came to help him make known his love to Mathee. The whole thing was quite a mess. Songpol’s friend thinks songpol is in the kitchen but all that time, he didn’t think to sinply go in and look for him???!!!
Sorry, I didn’t quite catch who this P’chai is. At first I always assumed it was Pran’s elder brother but he’s not. Why’s he always around the house if he’s a worker? Also, his hair and all, I cannot! Whats gg on there?! 🤣🤣🤣
I don't know what you are talking about, Namatam is the only good actress, the rest are the worse. Chimon is ok,…
I think its acceptable acting from everyone overall, with some better than others of course. Some dramas and some actors, their acting and how they carry certain scenes literally make me cringe. Like I feel uncomfortable watching just ‘cos they can’t deliver and it felt unnatural and awkward (f4 thailand?). So far I haven’t gotten such moments in this series. But I guess to each his/her own.
This series is slowly but surely sucking me in with every episode. I didn’t expect myself to enjoy it as much as I do tbh ‘cos it looks and feels so high drams like those soap operas. But ya, its getting really interesting and a large part has to do with the editing and pacing of the show, and the good performance all around.
Namtan, Jane and Kapook are absolutely owning their roles!Guys' skills here are not as consistent, but I am impressed…
I think on the whole, the acting from all the main characters here is up to scratch or in the case of Namtan & Kapook, exceptional. Namtan is really versatile! She owns and becomes every role she plays!
This series is growing on me from week to week. The story is getting more and more exciting, and Nanon was amazing…
I feel the same way about the series! Its really very watchable and there were moments when I thought it was quite smart, cute, inventive or all of the above. And I’m glad also that Prim finally commented she found San familiar and reminded her of an old friend.
I had a similar problem with Songpol. His younger brother should recognise him. I mean, he must have seen him…
Ya my immediate thoughts as well when watching the scene. The niece makes sense but how is it that the brother showed no sign of recognising him even when he has known him all his life from young till old.
I found myself enjoying this show quite a bit and wasn’t expecting it to be honest. I feel it’s well produced for the most part but there is one detail that I feel was overlooked and it bothers me. Which is this: why doesn’t the older version of Puimek’s character recognise young Nanon’s character (San) the first time they encountered each other after San’s transformation? Or she should at least find him strangely familiar, right? San just went back to looking like his 15yo self who Puimek has met before and in fact was besotted to. She should easily recognise him from memory. This part makes little sense. I wish it would’ve been addressed.
