Title Love Me
Was planning to watch this, but just wanted to check how it is so far. Is the show worth watching? And do you…
I’m 10 episodes in and I’m loving it so far! It has a very mature, natural flow to it. If you’re a binge-watcher, you might find yourself slowing down just to soak in the atmosphere because the writing is so detailed. It doesn’t feel like it’s heading toward a tragic ending at all, but more toward personal growth and a healthy relationship. I definitely recommend giving it a go!

just wanna point out that I love the ml’s writing like it was mentioned in previous episodes I think his uncle…
Spot on. It’s that 'grey skies vs. sunshine' trope done right. ☁️☀️ Watching him 'come to life' only around her is so romantic because it shows she’s the only one who truly knows the real him. It makes all their scenes together feel so special and earned!

CXX’s smile at 10:52 ep 20–There are moments like this when he himself, the real person, seems so into LYX.…
I noticed that exact same smile! 😭 There’s a specific kind of 'eye crinkle' he has whenever LYX does something cute that feels so unscripted. Whether it’s top-tier acting or genuine 'feeling the moment,' he makes it look so effortless. Honestly, the way they feed off each other's energy is what makes this drama so addictive. If it’s purely acting, he definitely deserves an award for those nuances!

This is so good! I am on ep 4 now and hope by the time I get to 20 all the episodes will be out. Will there be…
The struggle is real! Since it's a 28-episode run, you'll probably catch up to the live airings by next week. They haven't officially confirmed the 'express' dates yet, but keep an eye on the official Weibo or the iQIYI app—they usually drop those 'fast track' announcements right when the tension peaks!

Today’s episode was pure sugar! 🍭 I loved how both sets of friends had the exact same shocked reaction to the kiss—it made the scene so much funnier. The lead couple feels so natural together; I love that they aren't rushing into anything. Their constant teasing is the cutest thing, and you can really feel their happiness through the screen. My face actually hurts from smiling!

I love the quote unquote battles they're having. The banters and matching wits. Her going on a killing spree because…
The apartment scene had me howling! 😭 She was ready for a 'moment' and he’s just there like, 'Look at my sketches!' with that blank stare. He really is the definition of 'no thoughts, just vibes' when it comes to romance. But you’re so right—the fact that he shows his love through actions (and sketches!) rather than words makes his denseness actually sweet instead of annoying

On The Judge Returns Jan 17, 2026
The pacing is what’s doing it for me. A lot of recent legal dramas feel like they’re just 'case of the week,' but The judge returns feels like a high-stakes chess match. I love how the 'second chance' element isn't just a gimmick—it actually adds a layer of desperation to his actions because he knows exactly what he’s trying to prevent. It’s been a while since a show made me this impatient for the next episode!

Why is Zhiyu lowkey so clueless 😭 I can't help but laugh whenever he has that confused, deer in the headlights…
I die every time he makes that face! 😭 It’s so funny because he’s usually so composed until it comes to her. It’s like his brain just completely reboots whenever she drops a hint. But honestly, the 'recovery' is the best part—he might be clueless, but at least he’s willing to learn and put in the effort once he realizes he messed up!

One thing that's often seen in kdramas and not often talked about is how violence is treated as something normal.…
It really highlights a dark side of the competitive sports culture that dramas sometimes romanticize. By treating the coach's violence as 'standard discipline,' the show almost makes the audience complicit. I wish more dramas would address this as the abuse it actually is, rather than just using it to show how 'tough' the ML is for enduring it.

The first 2 episodes is just a prologue or more like a plot overview to the main plot. After the first 2 episodes…
I think you're right. They spent a lot of time establishing the 'rules' of her being a Gumiho, which can feel a bit slow at first. I’m actually glad they took the time to explain the consequences of her actions early on so the stakes feel real later. Definitely taking your advice and waiting for next week to see the 'real' start!

On No Tail to Tell Jan 17, 2026
I’ve been waiting for this to drop because of Kim Hyeyoon and Lomon, and after the first 2 episodes, I’m still on the fence. The 'MZ gumiho' concept where she doesn't want to be human is funny, but I’m not sure how I feel about the storyline yet. I’m hoping the chemistry between the narcissistic soccer player and the cynical fox really kicks in by episode 4!

I think translators sometimes feel 'I like you' sounds too weak in english romance, but they don't realize how…
Exactly! English often feels too 'direct' for the subtlety of asian dramas. There is a whole spectrum of feeling between a crush, deep admiration, and soulmate-level love that mandarin, korean, and japanese capture so beautifully. It’s not just the words, but the cultural weight behind them. Translating those nuances is a real art form!

the way sml put the bandage in that box like some rare jewel...
The symbolism there was so loud. It really highlights how starved he is for affection—he treats a simple medical supply like a literal treasure because of who gave it to him. It’s such a bittersweet way to show his devotion without him saying a word.

I don't know why so many subtitles translate this way, "i like you" in Mandarin to "i love you"…
I think translators sometimes feel 'I like you' sounds too weak in english romance, but they don't realize how much weight it carries in mandarin! Jumping straight to 'I love you' in the subs ruins the character's growth for me. Glad I’m not the only one who finds it odd!

The writing in Love between lines really stands out because of this. Usually, we get the 'stubborn' trope where characters can't take a hint, but these two are so refreshing. Their ability to make strong decisions and be open about their feelings makes them feel like real, relatable women. Great observation!

I think that’s the most 'Top star' thing she’s ever said! 💅 It’s not that he doesn't matter; it’s that her time and her heart are valuable. Why should she stay with someone who makes her feel lonely? If he’s not 'right' for her (meaning, if he won't be honest), then she should find someone who is. It was the 'threat' he needed to realize that his secrets were about to cost him everything,,,,

The SML at that dinner... I actually had to look away from the screen! 🙈 The second-hand embarrassment was TOO much. Does he really think announcing his 'love' to the whole family is going to make her suddenly fall for him? It just makes him look desperate. I’m with you—I wish the ML would have just dropped the bomb right there: 'Actually, we’re dating.' Mic drop. 🎤💥

When Zhi Yu is helping Hu Xiu doing her hair, they’re so domestic and intimate. I love how they’re not awkward…
The domesticity is killing me! 💀💖 No awkwardness, no forced dialogue, just pure 'I belong here' energy. The way he was helping her with her hair... my heart! It’s the ultimate reward for us sticking through all those episodes of pining. Can we just have 10 more episodes of them just doing household chores and being cute? Please? 🧺🍭

I would have liked to hear Zhao’s reason for his cheating. He claimed he still loved Zhao. So, why wasn’t…
It’s the 'Savior Complex' in reverse. He couldn't be his wife's hero anymore because she saw his mess, so he found someone else to 'save' him from his reality. 🥀 It’s not that she wasn't enough; it’s that he wasn't enough for himself. Sharing his life with her meant facing his mistakes, and he’d rather lie to her than grow up. Absolutely heartbreaking....

That damn bastard wasn't worth to be Hu Xiu's friend's husband. You gave up your job, hid all the shit about office…
Kicking him to death in the park would have been too kind! 😤 What makes it so revolting is that she was his biggest defender. She stayed silent about his job issues and protected his ego, only for him to go and find a 'junior' who probably thinks he’s some high-flying professional. He didn't just break her heart; he spat on her loyalty. I need a scene where she takes him for every cent he has! 🚮🔥
