just starting the series and to be honest, i have a hard time sitting through and watching most k dramas made…
i personally didn't notice any homophobia or racsim in this. infact this show just seem excessively hetronormative and left no room for any racial/lgbtqia or toxic plot points. this show was mainly about a a gym trainer/doctor falling inlove with an obese attorney on her journey to return back to being the Venus of Daegu. i wouldn't call it toxic but compared to today's standards of morality i would say it is slightly insensitve in some places. but honestly it was really nice. nad i loved that he was activly falling in love with her while she was heavier
my love for this series slightly fluctuated. i myself am an obese person and stuggle with feeling motivated. but this series has really made me want to change. i have finally started working out. but one thing i felt like this series did well was the intial attraction of Yeong-ho to Joo Eun even when she was chubby then he really fell in love with her dimples.im glad su jin and joo eun made up but i HATE that woo shik is never properly repremanded for cheating. it felt like Joo Eun just took it and never did anything with it. he just carried on happily making two women stay hostile to one another, two women who he had considerable love for. on being his ex of 15 years and the other being the side one for how ever many years. but i suppose his karma will affect him later. Grandma and Father laughing really REALLY made the series even better. there was no judging because of class or personality. this series was all about loving yourself, taking care of yourself and enjoying time with others.
also Ji Woong and Joon Sung were by far my favorite characters including Joo eun's mother and friend. both of the boys really looked up to yeong ho like a father/sister and eventually looked at Joo Eun as a mother/sister figure. and that relationship between Joo Eun and Ji Woong and Joon Sung were the highlight of this series. i loved it. but there were a few times where i think the love interest and the female lead were missing some passion or an overall loveing atmosphere. i know they can do it because we've seen it. but some parts where there should have been some passion of even an absurd amount of joy and smiling there wasn't and was replaced with this confused/nuetral feeling which really took me out of the whole romance feeling. it was like they were edging us and not letting us feel satasfied until the ending. i like that she gained weight while pregnant and he accepted it kinda but still said "let's exersize" i need a work out loving man.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PLEASE DON'T GET MARRIED TO HIMMMMM GET MARRIED TO THE OTHER ONE. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WAS SO MUCH MORE FUN. why did you do this
one thing i am loving so far is the slow but incredibly obvious corruption of Choi Yoo Sun. as she is bribed she slowly shifts her attention and 'support' from FL over to EFL after some infomation was released. but she gave the best piece of advice FL needed. get stronger no matter what. and i think shes been doing that
FL is so embarrassing ... not sure if I can continue
she really gets more confident as the series continues. im on episode 7 and she really is not backing down. but honestly her self confidence was down the drain when her husband did what he did. so far FL has threatened the evil FL and i have yet to see any actual consequences for her. hopefully it will be DEVASTATING
literally the first time i saw him i knew he was sketchy. Lying to CXJ that the master chose her instead of him begging his master was when i confirmed it.

its slightly confusing but not as confusing as Journey of Flower. its also quite long winded. The first heaven arc was nice and what i expected from a Xianxia romance drama. i REALLY liked liming and yandan. its like seeing the Moon Immortal and Jinmi together again. The older sister although starts of as frustrating and REALLY does some annoying things but towards the end she really redeems herself. The mortal arc went on for too long and give very much Untamed vibes and could've been a drama on its own . The second heaven arc was just too heavy with details. i found myself forwarding alot of parts as a continued watching. and also taking many breaks to the point of it being like weeks. but trust me when say its so beautiful and worth a watch. i know im also long winded but i loved the romance. and ML is SOOOOOO attractive especially ML's Bio dad. he had my non-exsistent punani IMPLODING ooooooooooooooooh
what a tragedy. they shouldve done one more episode on how Yandan and Yingyuan were forever immortalised as the three heros of the universe along with Yumo whose married too the sea Queen. that and how the heavenly emperor is dealing with the guild of basically killing yandan and yingyuan and their love. also what happened to older sisters half of the heart?? was that the spell scattering potion whats his face was on about?
wow this is so frustrating. why cant HQG just tell the truth. it really annoys me. whats the point of her being…
the moment i saw Big Sis i literally said "He Slays" and im so glad that Hua Qian Gu refers to her as "Big SIster" and "she/her" while everyone else doesn't. it show that she respects her as her Big Sister and as a human. that is all anyone wants from another person. and because of that Big Sis treats XQG like her little sister. this was my favourite relationship in this whole series. it wasnt romantic love it was sibling love. i wish we saw more of Xiao Yue and Xiao Gu's sibling relationship and maybe have a Big Sister, Big sister, Daughter, and Little brother family moment.
i dont know much about China and its culture but to me this felt like trans visibility. but if in chinese culture it has another name please let me know. i dont want to misrepresent culture because of my lack of understanding.
wow this is so frustrating. why cant HQG just tell the truth. it really annoys me. whats the point of her being a descendent of a goddess other than killing plants and attracting demons (which we havent actually seen except once). i like how this accutrately portrays the majority of world leaders being courrupt and selfish. but the majority of the normal people have more loyalty too each other. RIP Big Sister literally the BEST character on the show, second is the fallen immortal. i really liked the show until the 10 deity weapons came together. there isnt really anyone that is able to, without bias, too judge anyone. i think the judgement system is really screwed and only relys on word of mouth and not real facts. like you cant tell me there isnt an ability to see into the past within 5 hours or something??? you can see far distances but not see into the past??? um what?
edit: i literally cannot believe they killed off Big Sister, Tangbao, Dongfang and HQG!!! im so glad superior person sacrificed himself. he was very biased against HQG. i dont know where too find episodes 51 - 58 so if someone could tell me where it is please that will be very appreciated.
just rewatched episodes 31-33, and i noticed some loopholes. - FL killed herself with a fragment of the sword,…
with the sword i suppose the whole sword need to be put together to be used. if it breaks in half after its been reassembled i suppose it could still work. Assuming that each fragment has the power to kill immortals just diluted with each fragment. so instead of killing and destroying the FL the sword killing the body but her soul remained in ML's body? honestly confusing but thats how i understood it. the rest anoyed me and felt slightly rushed. like the FL's grief shouldve been longer.
although the FL's voice is quite annoying. this is a nice show i love the romance and the 2ML's struggle to confess his love only too loose it to the most notorious villian in all of the world
wow i really loved the Goddess of Xishan. her development from an innocent flower fairy to Moon Queen was amazing. even when she was deluding herself into thinking she would be welcome at Shuiyuntian it just shows how homesick she was. DFQC is absolutely adorable and even when he got angry it wasnt a nasty hateful anger but a caring one. the ending was nice and i think that for the type of character Orchid was, having her do an action fighting scene against Tai Sui would be a bit out of place so the power of special fire and love really fit her character. Its nice that it wasn't a cringy "power of love" fight. it really was the power of love between GOX and DFQC. i wish we could ahve seen more of Orchid taking the mantle of Moon Queen before she had to take on the responsibility of GOX and even after taking the responsibility. I had hoped to see her work with Xunfeng as brother/sister in law and help the moon tribe return to some sort of peace and closure to the village of widows. sorry this is so long and full of gramatical errors i have been binge watching this series for 2/3 days in a row. i havent had much sleep. and it was honestly worth the lost sleep.
