I’ve been eyeing this show from the start, but the reviews were mixed back then so I didn’t start it right away. Now they’re overwhelmingly positive (9/10!), so I’m about to binge-watch. Does it beat Never Let Me Go as the best PondPhuwin show so far?
I need some real confrontation here. Yotha doesn’t even know what he’s apologizing for, and Gun forgave him WAY too quickly—like, a kiss and it’s all good? Be for real. Shoutout to PerthSanta's acting though.
taishin is literally the definition of “i don’t have rizz, i have big doll eyes and many silly things to say.” he’s an adorable, awkward mess—slow, yet with zero filter—and i absolutely love him. his rural upbringing definitely adds to his naivety, and the fact that takara might be his first ever crush, combined with never having been in a relationship before, makes sense why this story is a slow-burn. though i’m not sure if his speech pattern is a character trait or just a directing choice, yes it can be a bit frustrating at times, but for me it adds to his charm. and takara is incredibly pretty, top-tier face card tbh and he gets 10x prettier when he smiles or laughs. he’s the classic “cold character who’s nonchalant at first but slowly softens towards the love interest” archetype, and i’m a sucker for it. i really appreciate how he lets taishin figure things out at his own pace without rushing him. really can't wait for episode eight to comes.
