Revenge is a dish best served devilishly

Personally, I tend to stay away from kdramas involving park shin hye. No offense to her, but directors are obsessed with giving her so many crying scenes. However, in this kdrama, oh mother... Such a well written character. Kang Bitna was strong, driven, and sadistic; and park shin hye portrayed all those characteristics to the dot. Kim Jaeyoung was also perfect for his role, and just so hot. Han Daon was so wicked yet so vulnerable, and i feel like that's exactly the type of male characters you need once in a while. He never overshadowed Bitna, and that's what I really enjoyed about this drama. The beautiful representation and balance of ying and yang characters. Bitna's revenge from the perpetrators was as satisfying as Daon choosing not to kill the serial killer. The support cast was absolutely talented, except for Bael's character who was honestly just meh. Grandma for the winning, for sure. The plot twist of who satan was was lowkey predictable, but i'm fine with it because the writers knew how to incorporate it in the story and didn't make such a big deal out of it. Also, the angles, the wardrobe, and the decor were so in theme with the drama, i was so in love. the usage of dark and red was strong, but not overbearing. Overall, just such a good job.

Hunt for a gold... with a twist

I went into this kdrama with minimal expectations, as I wanted to watch something light that would not get me too hooked as I am pretty busy these days, and all I have to say is that this kdrama is really underrated.

The story is pretty fun. Kdramas with NIS agents absolutely never miss the mark. It's a mystery drama with a fairly strong plot line, but it is the comedy that really made it work. There were some plot holes, but whatever, I could not care less for those inconsistencies.

What really made the drama enjoyable for me was the cast. ML and FL CARRIED. Haesung was soooo charming and hot, but sooooo good at his role. Sua was so cute and funny, but so smart. Such a refreshing couple, and while their relationship was not the big focus, their chemistry was soooo fun. And the found family trope?? GET OUT OF HERE IT'S SO FREAKING GOOD. Team 4 ftw! Class 2-1 ftw!! So loyal to each other I was so emotional at times. I did hate the ending of him becoming a professor because it is so clearly not his dreams, but someone said it might allude to season so i am less mad.

having a place to return to is an incredible relief

Honestly i fuck with this heavy. i watched this while on the verge of a slump and was in the mood for something more revenge-y, but i settled for it cuz it was the only thing i could find in my streaming service. first episodes might seem slow, but the overall storyline is worth pushing through. i connected HEAVY with samdal. her and yongpil truly were meant for each other. cho yongpil, the man you are. may a man like him find me in all my lifetimes. i just love when a man yearns for love. supporting cast was incredibly talented and diverse, enjoyed watching all of their stories and could not get enough of their character development. this is what i loved about this kdrama the most. everyone grew in their rightful way. for example, yongpil’s dad and samdal’s mom literally never smiled until the issue between them resolved. the scenery was so beautiful too. had me diverting our seoul trip to jeju isg

however, the love triangle was so unnecessary, especially that sangdo truly never stood a chance so it was just straight up boring to include it. moreover, samdal had a special friendship with the rest of the range rovers and it was so beautifully written, that i truly hated the writers for the unrequited love storyline. #budeservesbetter

anyways, overall healing watch. def def recommend

Truly one of the best Kdramas I have ever watched

This Kdrama has been gathering a lot of attention on KSpaces, and yet, when i first started watching, I went in with very minimal expectations. I surely did not expect that, during the 48 hours it took me to binge watch it, Trauma code would take up all of my thoughts. Something that honestly should not come by surprise as I absolutely love the Found Family Trope, which is
perfectly portrayed in here.

The casting is actually perfect. I loved the last episode so much. I loved Dr. Baek’s character, as it provided as much depth as arrogance. The way he was passionate about nothing but his patients in the beginning, but slowly and surely he was proven to care about others. The rest of the cast was so human that it was impossible to hate them. At some point, you become hooked too and feel part of the friend group. The drama keeps you on the verge of your seat and Mr. Baek getting the last laugh with everyone is soooo satisfying.

The main idea of the show is so great, that it makes me forgive the military propaganda on this
