Love does need translating!
This drama caught me by surprise. I like both the leads individually so I watched this upon release but without much expectation (I've been having a romantic comedy slump and have been unable to finish or connect with any recent releases of the genre), but I binged this drama over the weekend. It's thoughtful and poignant, though I get that if people come into it expecting a typical romcom they might be disappointed. Because it's not that. To me it's beautiful though — navigating mental health, personal traumas, healing, and understanding different languages of love. The leads nailed their roles and they will have you feeling terribly single with their chemistry and interactions. I do think there are some unnecessary bits, especially towards the end, hence it's not really a perfect 10 to me. I would definitely rewatch and recommend, though.
