I feel like the romance between the leads just comes and goes because at one moment their having a cute moment…
It's supposed to throw people off. There's a reason why Mu Qingyan is saying that to Cai Zhao in the teaser for episode 28. He doesn't want her to leave and abandon him. Unfortunately, she figured out his plan again and this is one of their breakup scenes.
I don't understand why people are saying that Cai Zhao doesn't have any feelings for Mu Qingyan. It's quite clear to me that she does but she's also burdened by her sect, her family, and her duties (at least for now). Her love isn't in your face like Mu Qingyan's—it's more subtle and cautious. If she really had no feelings for him, she wouldn't have even entertained all of his flirting in the first place. It looks like all of this will come to a significant turning point from episode 26 and onwards.
From the trailers, MVs, and previews, Cai Zhao will say the following words in future episodes:
"他从未害过我. 我为什么不能喜欢他? 我为什么要忘了他?" He never hurt me. Why can't I like him? Why should I forget him?
I'm scared for the upcoming episodes 😭 I'm not ready
I know! It’s obvious that Mu Qingyan will end up back at the sect somehow so their fate has not ended yet. Also, I really don’t think he is willing to let her go lol.
Episode 18 preview has me so excited for the future angst and relationship between Mu Qingyan and Cai Zhao. His type of love is very forceful and obsessive, which is my kryptonite. I laugh every time he gets jealous. He doesn't want her to care for any man but him lol. There's no denying that he fell first. I think Cai Zhao does have feelings for him and is rightly confused about it, but she's also smart enough to know that she can't abandon her family and duties (at least for now).
The editing for this drama could definitely use some work. It feels like they cut off a lot of scenes as a result…
I think the later episodes are definitely better! It's not as jarring and the pacing seems to have stabilized starting on episode 13. It got noticeably better when they're not in the Qingque Sect for some reason lol.
Ep 7I’m so lost, they were running from a dragon in winter wonderland and on the very next scene they are in…
The editing for this drama could definitely use some work. It feels like they cut off a lot of scenes as a result of the quick jump from one scene to the next lol. I wish there was better continuation or sequence from one episode to the other. I'm still really enjoying the drama though, especially the scenes between MQY and CZ.
Really enjoy the interactions between LJL and RSB. So fun to watch! The competitions had been fierce and entertaining…
Right?! It feels like a slow burn type of relationship, which I appreciate. The memory loss and her hiding his identity is kind of a problem, but we'll get over that hurdle LOL.
Out of the two currently airing Hou Minghao dramas, I find Glory to be the more interesting one. The whole bit on them trying to find a husband for the eldest Rong sister has been hilariously entertaining so far, especially while our male lead attempts survive this matriarchal household after losing his memories. The sisters are not on good terms and there's a lot of fighting, backstabbing, and betrayal.
As for the romance and chemistry between Hou Ming Hao and Gulnezer Bextiyar, I'm enjoying them so far. Lu Jiang Lai is very cheeky and smart. He knows how to get out of sticky situations and Rong Shan Bao can see right through him. It's a very interesting relationship and I find them super cute. I can't wait until he finally regains his memories.
Trailer released in 2026 TencentConference looks great. But I know better to just wait and see for myself.Ive been…
Tang Qianzi feels different from Feng Suige who was regal, defiant, and proud. There's a more "rugged" and wild feeling to his character, which plays well to the commoner to who rises through the ranks to become a general archetype. After his performance in Fated Hearts, I'm sure he'll be able to impress viewers again. I have never watched any of Zhang Jinyi's dramas but I've heard many praises for her. They both look really cute together!
One of my most anticipated dramas for next year, especially after watching Chen Zheyuan's performance in Fated Hearts. After watching the newest trailer, it looks super romantic but also angsty. I can't wait!
Just started this and have to laugh each time ML makes an expression because his eyebrows and makeup awful. Hope…
It was a bit distracting at times because they really like using that blurring beauty filter lol. Li Qin and Chen Zheyuan are already good looking, so it was somewhat unnecessary in my opinion. It did make his features more sharper, which I assume was what they intended. Oh well, I was fine with it in the end. You just get used to it. I was more interested in Chen Zheyuan's demeanor and presence as Feng Suige—which he did nail.
I really enjoyed this drama. It's been awhile since I was this attached and obsessed over the characters, story, and romance. Li Qi and Chen Zheyuan did such an amazing job with their characters! They had their own motivations, ambitions, and goals — all of it was consistent. It was entertaining, intense, heartfelt, and exciting. This was my first Chen Zheyuan drama and now I'm a huge fan. I can't wait for his drama with Zhang Jing Yi — Chasing Dreams.
While I didn't really care for some of the side characters and thought the last part of the drama was rushed, I still liked it a lot! It just could have benefitted from at least 1-2 more episodes to tie in everything together. I didn't like that some events were delegated to a few lines in the end. Nevertheless, I loved the fighting scenes and thought they were all incredible. Definitely one of my favorite dramas that I've watched in awhile!
Yeah, I'm not sure I like that twist in the story. For someone that spent most of his youth defending his empire,…
I heard that Feng Suige's character became king in the novel? But you're correct that him not wanting to rule contradicts his character, especially for someone who has the military under his control.
From the previews for tomorrow, it looks like the Zhuang and Murong families will be teaming up to kill Feng Suige. I'm so disappointed in the Marquess, but it's to be expected that he'd chose his son over everyone else.
I think the brother is a good person but lacks the ruthlessness for the role. FSG would have to spend his life…
I agree! There are no other capable candidates unless they make Feng Xiyang empress... but she's having her own soap drama in Jinxiu. 💀 I hope the ending doesn't disappoint us!

"他从未害过我. 我为什么不能喜欢他? 我为什么要忘了他?"
He never hurt me. Why can't I like him? Why should I forget him?
"我陪你重新开始."
I'll start over with you.
