I completely agree with you. The last scene where Umi didn't understand Kazao was quite frustrating, in my point of view Kazao's reason to achieve his goal was completely legit, but unfortunately, Umi-chan invalided his way of thinking...I have no doubt that in second thought she will understand him, but the way she thought 'you're not enjoying working with animal beauty, then you shouldn't have in the first place' was frustrating :(
after episode 5, I still think Sana likes Ko. In the first place, it was quite obvious in ep 3 that they liked each other. But what Sana feels for Kotori is still confusing, I think it's not love, but more something about admiration and thankfulness, since he was such a needed asset for Dream Pony.
Also the scene with Kotori when he is clueless are so fun, like the one when everyone looked at him when talking about Hanada Sachi lol but yeah I like his character, definitely needed in the team !
Now that they won the prize, I don't know where the story is going...(feel like Kaito might get recruited by the game academia guy ? Them being awkward after Ko's confession ? Why was Sana Crying in the teaser ? )
Last but not least, I'm not familiar at all with developer and business, but I like Dream Pony Concept and idea, the way they evolve and found ideas to improve is interesting !

Among the drama I recently watched, I can think of these : - Muchaburi, where one of the main lead is a charismatic CEO - Ore no Kawaii wa Mousugu Shohikigen, not CEO but the male lead is a perfect handsome employee (Really liked this one, so cute and fun!) - waru (2022), not CEO but one of the character is a nice handsome perfect employee (it's not really a romance drama tho) - Kanojo wa Kirei datta (the jp version of the kr drama) the CEO isn't really nice but we have the typical perfect but kind of arrogant tsundere one - Koi Wa Deep Ni, not CEO either but same type of character
But yeah otherwise I watched a lot of k-dramas with the typical CEO character haha
I'm team Kazao, I'm kind of tired of the nice handsome perfect CEO character lol I've been watching too many dramas with this kind of role recently so little bit tired of it and imo there is definitely more chemistry btwn Umi and Kazao than with Keisuke (that make up scene in ep 4 was so cute!) About Umi-chan, she's such a hard worker, passionate person and determinate about her way of thinking, maybe sometimes annoying exactly because of those point because she's always running sometimes without really thinking lol but overall she's a really lovable and energetic character, I like how Suzuki Airi plays the role, it fits her well !
just watched episode 1 without checking anything about it except a few comments and I'm surprisingly surprised! It was a really nice first episode! and it's actually my first time watching a drama with Suzuki Airi as the lead and she's really good, I really liked all her expression and her acting, it felt really natural! I'm definitely about to enjoy this!
Just finished it, it was a nice drama! Rising interesting issue about women in society and in workplace with a bubbly energetic maybe sometimes annoying but overall really lovable character like Tanaka Maririn. Watching her running everywhere in Ohmi each episode was fun and the characters were good. The senpai/kouhai relation with Minegishi was really great! Happy with Imada Mio first main lead, can't wait for her next main role.
as a big fan of Juhan Shuttai, the original japanese drama I had some expectation about it, but it's actually a really free adaptation, it's really different from the original drama I guess only the main story about working as an editor and maybe few of the artists is the same, so I can't deny that I'm quite disappointed because I can't help to compare. But since I really like Kim Se Jeong, I will still give it a try. But if you guys want an insight of manga, mangaka and editor work I definitely recommend Juhan Shuttai which is one of my fav jdrama.
this drama wasn't in my watching plan but since I'm a naniwa danshi fan and I saw Nagao Kento and my TL so I gave it a try, it was a fun first episode and it's short so easy to watch!
I'M SCREAMING! the way Junho refrains himself, but young woo was actually the one who initiated it, the light turning on/off, the night view, the music, the clumsy comments after the kiss EVERYTHING about this kiss scene was PERFECT! also I saw somehow say Junho is a walking broccoli and it made me laugh so much lol the ultimate green flag male lead and we love to see it!
episode 4 was nice! I really like Kotori clumsy but really dependable character, he is so fun to watch, he knows a lot of important things that are a great asset to dream pony. I Also liked Ko speech to his father about wanting to struggle because he never really did in his life before and how he thanked his dad, it was a great scene! I'm always rooting for Sana/Ko ending up together, but what did Sana's expression at the meant? I feel like the writter want to lead us thinking she might have feelings for Kotori but it might just be something else (like something related to the person who gave her the book in episode 1 when she was in high school, yes I'm still going on with this theory lol) Anyway looking forward next week episode! and like always thank you ECOTV for the subs!
the episode 1 was really good, mostly because the dynamic btwn the 2 characters is great! From their very first scene, we can feel that these two works well together! Looking forward to the next episode!

I thought the same too! I thought maybe he was the person who gave her the book she couldn't reach in episode 1 when she was in high school (3min20) ? Am I the only one who thought about that? and the way she suddenly changed in episode 2 after seeing something on his neckties or something like that during the rain scene (43min10) Can't help thinking they are related before he joined dream pony
now that I caught up the live airing, the struggle of waiting for the next episodes is killing me! the first half was really top-tier level! I can easily tell that it will be in my top 5 fav drama of this year. can't wait for next week!
Episode 3 made me 100% root for Sana and Ko ending up together ! Nagano Mei and Sugino Yosuke look really great together on screen. I understand what they did with the 'best business partner' as they are aiming for their dream and won't let love get through even if they obviously like each other, but can't wait for their relationship development and I hope the drama take this direction, and I think it does since it took one full episode to talk about how their team was formed and their relation.
