And I feel that since this series is focusing more on who will Heng get married/hitched, the company is pushing more on marriage equality plot, just like they did with past 2-3 bls and recently, Pluto. So they don't want to highlight the queers in a bad image

I was telling the same as well to the people who are disappointed and complaining about some changes; they have removed some problematic parts to cater to the Thai audience. Imagine Heng saying the same words like Haruta mentioned about "liking women with big breasts" which led Maki/Mo to mention that in the shower. The Thai netizens who never watched Ossan's Love in their lives would be bashing the production team and actor for using such words about a woman.

Yeah, its refreshing to see them challenging their roles in the usual dramatic and angsty series.

And why do you even expect a Thai remake would replicate the Japanese humor?? Why does a remake have to be 100% copied from the original source?
And it's so stupid for some people to criticize some things as if the thai production team has 100% rights to change the plot whatever way they want, especially for this Ossan's Love thailand project where the producer of the original Ossan's Love, the japanese screenwriter, and the japanese production team are heavily involved and promoting simultaneously in japan. They took more than a year for production and discussion of this Thai remake, so japanese original lovers, even if you get disappointed with the Choko removal and the big breast dialogue, its useless since these changes were approved by the original production team and the channel.
Casting Ryu and Parn should have given an idea who would be replaced and who would be Utamaro.

Anyway, dont pay attention to these so called jbl fans who watch with "english" subtitles, the og version japanese fans are fine with it, the og production team is behind the production of the remake, the actors did great, that's more than enough.
