now this was EPIC, congratulations to the winners and every fandom that worked hard for their biases! despite the controversy, we all got to see new sides of our idols and it was truly a magical time, I'm gonna miss queendom
I really enjoyed this round, especially loona, hyolyn, and viviz's performances. Regardless, I think this is season is better than the first one, the girls seem to be more invested and I truly appreciate their dedication and effort
I kind of agree with the final rankings for round 1. I was so surprised people voted without fandom preference, which makes it better as the winner will be the one who did it better and not the one with more fans
a classic everyone should watch, especially for the turtle's acting which was remarkable. I also love how this movie keeps the sion sono essence despite being very different from his other works
so...!? at the end does he commit suicide by drowning himself ? i rewatched the ending 4 times to try read his…
I haven't thought of that ending though. To me it was more like, now that everything was over, he truly realized his lover won't come back no matter what he did. He says it when he's driving, "I still can't believe you are gone". Also, the movie showed us he went to that beach a couple of times to reminiscence memories, hoping (or rather fantasizing) to see her again. The first time he's there after avenging her doesn't make him feel what he expected, hence his face showing no emotion. He's trying to find emotion -but he can't.
I haven't gone that far with the ending because of what he said to Yuriko: "You are reborn. So keep living"; I wouldn't care for another person if I was to end my life. Probably after figuring everything out, he decided to do it. But I wouldn't like to think that way because, not gonna lie, I lowkey liked Yakumi regardless of what he did at the end... (and I also like Iwata Takanori).
probably yes, but I think that is also one of the points of the movie: to make us witness every hardship without missing any detail. hence the impact of the ending. on the other hand, this is adapted from a whole manga series so that explains why it feels long as well
not gonna lie the first two episodes were kinda boring to me but after that the show ((very slowly)) gets better. I think this show is getting some negative reviews because is definitely not what people expected and also the weird pace and execution. regardless, it is deep and touches some conversations so it wasn't a waste of time
It's so obvious that originally Seo Jin should've died from chandelier accident and Yoon Chul from stairs falling,…
I feel the same way! the impression the last episode gave me was that the writer wanted the three of them to share the same ending, with the only difference being how they will be remembered
I've heard that Penthouse won't be airing episode eight this week due to Tokyo Olympics and will resume broadcast on 30 July instead. Just when I started loving this season...
