The drama was over when the FL gets discovered and the couple reunites. After that it was just plain filler. If you like soap operas, you will LOVE it. But if you like grounded, mature dramas... you will be groaning and cringing every episode. This is one of those dramas thats so dumb but the need to see love win will keep you watching.
first watch the drama then come to the conclusion . it's called sacrifice not cheating
I'm good, thanks. Characters that become unfaithful, regardless of motivation, just really bug me and affect my enjoyment. Whether its revenge or sacrifice or neglect... I really don't want to watch it.

Interesting. I have a different value system so I don't agree with them. There are so many good japanese and korean shows I avoid because of cheating plotline. It just ruins my experience. I made the mistake of sitting through a very highly rated korean show with cheating as a central plot, thinking I'll just tolerate it. It dampened my mood for days.
The concept of this drama was like the Korean show EXchange ( love transit ) , however I wish I haven't seen this…
I may be wrong but it seems infidelity is large part of korean and japanese societies. Its prevalent enough to be present in almost every drama in some form. Also I feel that dramas sometimes glorify affairs in the guise of "falling in love".
The characters are eccentric but since its a role reversal trope, wasn't my thing. If you watch this, please go into it knowing what it is otherwise you'll be bored and irritated.
What a charming, elegant FL. Her presence was so calming and her voice so soothing. The ML's constant yelling made her stand out even more. I've seen so many combative and masculine female characters recently that her femininity and calmness was like a breath of fresh air.
This drama was a slow burn and I hate those types of drama and usually skim through it, fast-forwarding the miscellaneous…
The last line made me sad. Please find happiness in little things. If you believe in God, may he bless you and make thing easier for you. I wanted to watch this show because of all the praise but I have realized I am in the camp that will come out depressed, mainly because of the cheating storyline. I am somewhat still new to korean dramas (even though I've watched about 30 shows) but the number of dramas with affairs and infidelity makes me wonder about korean society. Is it that prevalent? Or are they just using it as clickbait to get the audience invested?
I loved "My Mister" (even though the wife made my blood boil) and I would have liked to watch something like this but I just cannot connect with a lead who's cheating. I made the mistake of trying to sit through "One Spring Night" only to regret it a lot. I feel these shows sometimes normalize affairs, which are absolutely cruel whether its the husband or wife. There is no peace or happiness born out of cheating or affairs... no matter how much they sell us that fantasy. Its just my personal opinion and if there are people who are sensitive to cheating... please go into it fully aware of whats going to happen.
The writer got shortchanged by Netflix for the success of S1. At least he gets to make some money off this now. Even though this is subpar, I want him to get some bank for how good S1 was.
I just finished this. What a odd lovely drama. The characters are so weird and likeable. The plot is not what will keep you watching, its the interactions between these characters. I just wish it wasn't as melancholic. There is so much unrequited love and failed relationships, although it is somewhat offset by the warmth of the friendship between the leads. The ending song captures the vibe of the drama really well.
I suppose you need to get used to the anime aesthetic to enjoy this drama. The exaggerated performances, the emotional preaching, the simple characters may prove to be uninteresting to mature audiences. However the life lessons it tries to impart to the students are really well meant. Black Mirror would be an example of a show that takes similar unusual premises and constructs a grounded story with nuanced characters.
Why is an ahjumma the main FL? The second FL is way more hotter!
Bcz older female writers fantasize about being as desirable in their 40/50s as they were in their 20s. I have long held the opinion that most kdramas need to have a fantasy tag in their description... just like Lord of The Rings 😆
