seriously this drama name shouldn't be "Law & the city" it's must be "Food & the city" always they show them eating…
Oh nooo don't tell me that π I saw 2 eps so far but I HATE the food scenes .... because it always makes me want to join them so badly, I want it too!!!!ππ
So, basically Um Jae Il from Resident Playbook just gave up on being a doctor and became a lawyer instead... Because Kang You Seok's character/personality here is just exactly the same as there... πππ
(this is nothing against him or his persona, just something I felt the instant he came on screen)
Could you elaborate please?π (at this point it's all just whatever to me..) if you don't mind.. (+ of course using spoiler tag for the good of the others)
same.. I wonder when he will be the male lead and not the 2nd
you and me both π€ well technically he was recently the ML on that romantic show Spice up our love or something? I haven't watched it yet. But I like him so much better in actionπ
Another K-drama, another simp male lead, another female lead who still has an ex-friend in love with her. And…
My beef with this script is the same. In first episodes I didn't like the ML much simply for how reckless, childish and hotheaded he was but now I just want to hug him honestly after the way he's constantly been treated.
decided to check my much neglected Prime subscription and came upon this. it says comedy. I've been struggling…
Uuuh, careful with that. The ML is probably the only lighthearted thing about this show. He's a reckless dummy, and yes the rest of the team also shoots out some jokes here and there, but honestly there's an emotionally disturbing and weighing scene in few eps and painful circumstances that the ML has to deal with. It has comedy, that's true. But is ballanced out (sometimes even overballanced) with pain, a lot of pain (and I don't mean only physical).
jong hyeon and dong ju would be good friends, im tired of this love rival trope.
Oh how I crave good bromance over romance. Their chemistry and dynamics would be fun and I'd support it so much. Well we still have 8 episodes to go so never say never... :)))
just an idea it would have been so refreshing if they had paired sang yi with so hyun instead of park bo gum (which…
Simply for the sake of an unexpected choice instead of knowing since the very first ep that ML is just always the only choice..... I agree script-wise it'd definitely be welcomed in any story not just here. Give me some pattern unexplored! π Sometimes I'd be happy if the FL ended up with ML's best friend instead of ML... in fiction overall, not just k-drama β instead of someone who they're obviously meant to end up with.
a drama that involves children always hits hard. I still to this day remember Children of nobody, I cried a lot…
Don't even get me started on Children of nobody .... I cried every episode, it was so tense and traumatizing. But also one of the topics that nowadays still should be brought to light even when disturbing.... ππ
Fr like I hate how she treats him, so rude, I think that's why I didn't get excited for the kiss, I felt she didn't…
Yes me neither. Sorry that it's long but... Funny is that just an episode ago when she started being a little cute with him and worrying, I actually stopped minding the overall love plot for a moment. The very next episode she goes boom back to being a bitch to him. If I were in her shoes I could never stomach to say those things to someone who looks at me with those puppy eyes (even when he's occassionally annoying) who I KNOW really likes me and depends on me. I can't honestly remember anyone who would had a crush on me in real life whom I would treat so roughly, especially when they're having a hard time already.
Cause yeah tough love sure helps! My colleague and apparently a person I have feelings for goes missing and is obviously not okay, so what am I gonna do? Oh right, bombard them with mean messages instead of offering him help and compassion and trying to convince him to come back and lean on us β his team β in a considerate way. No cause saying something like "if you don't show up you're dead you good for nothing" is better.
That's why I don't like this love interest from the very 1st episode. I don't like someone obsessively hanging onto someone who treats them like this. One minute you're worried sick about him and the next you go back to nagging him. You know he likes you and he knows that you like him, so it doesn't make sense to me why would you keep up this attitude with him playing hard to get and saying ugly stuff to him. You don't do that to someone who you like and who you know is sensitive. So when the last scene of ep7 came? That really wasn't a desired climax for me. I sure as hell wouldn't crave kissing a person who just a minute ago said some nasty stuff to me. And I sure as hell wouldn't say nasty stuff to someone I care about who is going through a hard time.
And for the record, I don't like this dynamics even when the roles are reversed with a super pure innocent good girl clinging to an avoidant rude oppa who isn't capable of saying a single nice word to her yet she's still obsessed with him. What are you obsessed with when the other person is uncapable of showing affection and continuously proceeds to humiliate you when they should care about you?
Ok, I'm at the end of episode 7, why is Hana treating him like this? π₯ Instead of apologizing for misjudging…
She's like oh I called you indecent for standing up for yourself and getting into a fight! But wait β you didn't actually get into a fight, instead you just took a beating? Who does that, you should be ashamed!
What does she actually even want him to say or do if whatever he does it's always wrong? π
Ok, I'm at the end of episode 7, why is Hana treating him like this? π₯ Instead of apologizing for misjudging him, she just keeps saying more humiliating things to him to make him feel even worse? She just threatens him through texts that she'll kill him if he doesn't show up while she's fully aware that he's already way over his head, sad and ashamed? I hate characters with this attitude like it's a problem to have empathy and be able to recognize when it's okay to apply tough love and when it is just not ....
