I just realized i could've phrased it better, my bad... I meant the character not the actress. even if Miji bought herself extension how does her hair look just exactly the same like her sister's is still a long shot for me... but I should probably just stop thinking too much about it and just ignore it, that's also my bad ππ
My king and my queen reunite after Stranger as the main leads.... my dreams came true. Oh this better be good β€οΈβπ₯π₯΅π₯ And what do you mean only 8 episodes?!π
I'm on episode 4 and it's really the cup of tea I've been longing to give a try so far ππ Wholesome and funny but not too crazy and over the top. I only hoped to get two things clarified if possible...
So let me get this straight.... an literally OLD man orders an βoldβ woman to pack up her job because it's a shame to have her there? He can work, but she can't? Are women at 37 in this country really seen as a piece of property that is only good for housework and if they want to make money it's a disgrace? At 37 YEARS old, she is considered OLD? And they don't even know that she is about to get a divorce, oh good lord what a despicable selfish woman. Also if her kids are in high school then I'd assume they're able to take care of themselves. Aren't both adults in a family expected to be employed? It's not that I am shocked exactly, as I'm aware this is still a strongly patriarchal country... but are these insane conditions still normalized even today?
And another thing... is a university education and family or other personal connections really that crucial in assessing whether you are suited to the job you are applying for... or is it just occasional? Or did it possibly get a little better now? It's very disturbing, especially when it's repeated regularly in every episode. I'm generally aware of how conservative and humanly unfeeling society in this country very often is. How favoritism and hierarchical selection plays a big role, especially when it comes to their complete and utter obsession with education grade, family background (absolutely ridiculous as if what your grandparents did ever had to represent/define you as your own person at all...) and efficiency in itself. I sense how much a social status means there, but I'm really sickened by these situations the more I think about it.
Incredible, I didn't expect to see my guy "Bae Hyun Sung" in a cameo, still with his gorgeous, cute smile.
omg tell me about it!! the moment he appeared I kicked my legs out so fast that I didn't even realize what I did ππ and started squeakingππ₯²π₯°π₯°π₯°
THE ENDING???? WHAT? So did the mysterious CEO have him killed or did he commit suicide? π That was so random, and so sad... instead of finding middleground (no matter how "rainbows and unicorns" that sounds) he goes this way...π
I see few people being disatisfied with Suho waking up. I don't know if that happens in the webtoon, I'm not a reader. But I was actually glad he woke up β maybe cause I'm just biased, but well. However the reunion didn't feel right.... It wasn't enough. I'm not talking about jumping around each other's neck and hugging the hell out of each other ... I'm fine with silent emotion and simple questions, many times that says more than an overdone dialogue and I love it when a character speaks with their face more than with their mouth. But the emotion felt shallow.
Lately, Iβve seen some negative comments about the FMLβs love interest. Is it actually someone related to…
Yup, you have a point. Also when you mentioned his face isn't your typical textbook handsome hormones stirring one .... based on majority's opinions. It's true he's not a stereotypically magazine like looking male lead but honestly for me it's like a breeze of fresh air... when I look at him I really feel his charisma and I liked him since episode 1.... Everything in his character plays into it AND his looks do aswell. I wish people weren't so demanding and ill-wishing. π€·ββοΈ

Okay! I wasn't sure if you talked about the character or the actor. Thanks! ππ In that case ... I sort of agree with what "OP" said in her other comment about When The Phone Rings cast age gap.... My Lovely Boxer also comes to mind, FL and ML are literally like 15 years apart I think....? People can be so hypocritical in these stuff, seriously π

Could you please elaborate on his age for me? Since he's now a 4th year and she was a 1st year 2 years ago from present, and now she is repeating the 1st year again... I thought it meant she'd be in 3rd year by now hadn't she dropped out back then, so she's only 1 year younger than him. Did I misunderstand?π₯²ππ That part is confusing for me.
Just starting this and I'm confused, is she a first year or a fourth year?
The way I understood it she was only a first year initially but then called it quits. That was 2 years back from our current story timeline. So now 2 years later she's a first year again because she needs to repeat that year again. And Du Won is one year older than her I guess so back then he was a second year and that's why now he's a fourth year? I'm not 100% sure though, it's only what I assume I might've caught on right π
Totally agree β Iβve watched Doctor Slump, Strong Girl Bong Soon, and Heirs. Tried Happiness too but dropped…
Thank you for such extensive reply π Exactly as you say, if it's like that then I can only be happy for him. He's really great and I also loved him in Doctor Slump (and Happiness, hehe) so sure, just let him collect π€π€
... HOW did she get long hair from one minute to another?
Outside of that, so far so good ππ§‘π―
