Is it a fact that basically one brother falls in love with his sister and creates a love triangle with the other…
Okay, thank you so much! I really want to give it a go. After watching Navillera I'm really tuned in for something heartwarming and slice of life -ish and this seems like a good shot :))
The story was nice, I loved the dads. But I felt bad about KHJ, he was always left out. And the romance as much…
Is it a fact that basically one brother falls in love with his sister and creates a love triangle with the other brother (though I know they're all adopted)? I really want to start this for Bae Hyu Sung so I'd just like to know what to brace myself for...π
If she was gonna keep fuxking him and have an affair with him even though sheβs now married why hurt him in…
Amen π that's exactly my main issue with these two since episode 1. Not because she might've had her reasons doing what she did, but because the way she treated him despite still "planning" to be with him (she probably knew the writers would make him forgiver her) didn't make any sense
I mean so are his colleagues... a lot... But I ignore it for the sake of the comedy. I'm really enjoying this drama so much that I just try take it lightly without looking at the pet peeves π
That childhood story is unnecessary, everything is great without it. I donβt know why they keep inserting it…
I think that's something that 90 % of the k-drama fandom can agree on now π creators should just finally drop it. Maybe one day we'll see the end of it.
They seem more like best buddies. I suppose there is now no reason why it can't blossom into romance, but of course…
Exactly that's sort of how I thought about it. I know she's fawning over him and he subtly finds her chaotic nature cute... But just because the screenwriters make them gaze at each other longingly it doesn't mean I feel it between them... Even though they obviously are into each other they just don't hit me with that dynamics, it's really more like partners in crime/buddies for me.... π
Yeeees the good old childhood love story.... in case we don't believe their attraction for each other, FATE will convince us otherwise π π π₯²
Maybe you are in the minority since I just came from X and YT and the adore their chemistry even as partners maybe…
Yeah I don't have anything against their characters so much. It's that I don't overall sense chemistry between the actors, really. And I tried ππͺ But for me there's just nothing romantic or magnetic or fluffy between them... And I'm not talking about what is scripted for them, I mean I just don't have the feel there wheny they interact. But as you say, maybe I'm one of the few, it's just my personal feeling π
So the Curse only works with guys especially the guys who fall in love with her and confess to her?
To be honest I'd say the curse is even causing them to fall in love with her actually. There's no way that she'd just casually catch her every classmate's eye with zero effort and make them line up for her like that. One or two might find her interesting for staying quiet and brooding all the time or laying low and not engaging in any activities. Some find it mysterious and attractive. But not half of the school in my opinion.
Hello, I personally select carefully what I watch, according to my taste (I even check - with older shows - if…
Right! I wish more people would try to think about it this way. I did drop dramas sometimes, however there were only few. Usually I apply my 3-5 episode rule to decide whether the story and characters have captured me or not and then I either put it on hold or just remove it from my list instead of dropping it. That way I don't taint the "score" the drama already has for itself by dropping it, but instead it's as if I never even watched it. And it is for the same reasons that you said β if I don't end up liking the storyline or the genre it's due to my subjective preferences and not because the drama itself is of bad quality. I find it so simple. ππ€·ββοΈ
If I finished something and then rated it 7 or 6.5 (which is the lowest limit for me) then it's because there was one or two redeemable aspects or because I just wanted to know how it ends and wraps up. If there's mostly dramas rated by 8 - 10 on my completed list, it is because those I didn't enjoy I simply decided not to finish. Only instead of dropping I just removed them.
Yet here we have people who continue watching a drama they don't like or even a genre they KNOW they don't prefer...and then complain about it and drag it through dirt. If I know that I don't usually like dull exaggerating comedies, I don't watch them. I wouldn't objectively recognize the rateable factors unlike people who understand it more. Why do people who don't like slow, contemplative stories about let's say politics.... watch slow, contemplative stories about politics and then rate it low because they did't find it amusing? DUH, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT GUYS? π
Am I only one who would like to see more scenes with ML and his βSisterβ instead of teacher? I would like…
I'm sure they have some story going for her too. Based on her interactions with the VIP group you can feel that though they're accepting her they're only viewing her as a minion and she has some hidden reason as to why she "obeys" them and follows them around that we don't know of yet. ML will probably try to free her from their toxic influence once he realizes it. He's oblivious for now and she's hiding her possible struggles from him but that bubble will burst.
I don't rate dramas but I feel like,.for example, 9+ romcom and a 9+ thriller are two different beasts. This may…
The rating via numbers issue is real. I keep reading everywhere in reviews or comments that what a person actually enjoyed and was left with a good impression and satisfied, they rate 7 or 7.5 and I'm here like.... what? Then if you say that you enjoyed, loved the story plot, loved the characters and it was overall nice... what more do you need from the drama to give it more than just 7 β genuinely, what else is missing for you in that case? π§πΆ
As my rating of 7 is usually for something that was just fine but didn't really grasp my interest or excitement that much or had a lot of blind spots which overweighed my rather positive emotional experience. When I enjoy something to the core I give it atleast 8 and higher depending on how many plotholes or "dumb" characters or lazy writing etc. there were.... But it's overall just so hard and difficult, these are things that should be taken with more complexity than to just strike a number, especially when that someone most of the times isn't objective about it and their tunnel vision takes over. π
