I kept thinking that too. That's probably why there are theories that HW and DJ are actually one person living "parallel" lives in two bodies or alternative realities..... Those unexplained things and holes in the story are why I don't give it a full 10.... I want to know why things are the way they are and need a proper closure otherwise it would've been perfect.

Exactly..... that car accident got me so confused when HW looked at HIMSELF in the car (DJ) and he seriously didn't recognize that person as his own "twin" ? And pretty much anyone else who knew both of these boys didn't? Maybe in reality (funny to say) DJ actually looked different, just wasn't revealed to us as audience. If you know what I mean. It's as if you have a character trapped in someone else's body with one physical form but when they look at themselves in the mirror they see the reflection of their real appearance. And we just never saw that DJ's real reflection (metaphorically speaking) as an audience. But hey maybe it's too far fetched. I'm just thinking 🤔😄

This is so well said, everything you mentioned is definitely on point about both Shi Eun and Beom Seok! :) I really love the way we can go through character analysis together in the comments and let each other know that we're on the same boat. Exactly, at the beginning it felt like Shi Eun really needs therapy and seems to have some triggers, yet with the safe place Soo Ho gave him it basically turned into something entirely else and in the end the tables turned so insanely.... I'm still overwhelmed. And yes, Beom Seok's behaviour is explainable if you're willing to dive in deep enough but in no way is it excusable, sadly. No matter what drove him he needs to own up to it. He went way too far and even when I felt sorry for knowing where it came from, I can't forgive him for what he did. However as for their feelings for Soo Ho it was pretty noticable with both of them and with Beom Seok the social media scrolling was a clear sign I think. Shi Eun's protectiveness over Soo Ho moved me in a very significant way. ✋ 😓

Of course, I'm sorry it was so long but I just started remembering a bunch of things in the process! 😅 And I hear you with the long repetitive dramas. I'm happy when I find a drama that doesn't have 16 episodes 60 or more minutes long.....I feel like even with a promising synopsis it always gets dragged in the second half and eventually it loses focus, characters start acting out of their assigned posture and change their personalities completely (and by this I don't mean developement) which is pain. It's hard to enjoy stories like that yet often those are even the best rated out there for some reason 😄

No worries. I'm SO glad I'm not the only one picking up on that! 😄  I don't necessarily make every story a gay story and look for things when it's not there, but god this had waaaay too many subtle signs that I couldn't ignore. I won't dive into analysis cuz it would take too long, but you could see how lovingly and longingly Shi Eun looks at Soo Ho 8 times out of 10. When Beom Seok kidnapped Young Yi and Shi Eun read the messages....... the way he looked at Soo Ho with such softness and worry and decided to protect him from all that and keep it from him, knowing Beom Seok's guys might hurt him? Also later after that when Soo Ho visited Shi Eun and started with the same exact lines as when he arrived to his doorstep for the very first time.....that was toooooo damn touching and basically it killed me. 😓  Shi Eun's devastation over Soo Ho towards the end and how he made sure to get revenge on every single person among those who hurt him (especially the moment he thought of Soo Ho's advice when facing Woo Young)..... oh dear.......

I also felt confused and flustered by that at first. To be honest it felt A LOT like a crush since he was clinging onto Soo Ho's attention and affection so desperately, kept scrawling through his social media and checking on what he's doing in his free time. Actually from the long (I mean looooong) eye contacts from Shi Eun to Soo Ho I'd even vote for a love triangle here. As for the violence.... Bum Seok avoided any counterpart til the last moment and even when Soo Ho was about to get abducted he immediately rushed to his aid because how much he feared and cared for Soo Ho's safety, yet he didn't defend aggressively. But there could be many factors. His violence can be blocked by fear or simply doesn't have to be triggered right away. When in the situation with Gil soo of whom he was scared and additionally he seemed to be scared of the father's secretary aswell, maybe that's why he didn't react violently when asked to. But when he gets an impuls out of his own anger/jealousy/frustration, maybe that's something else and it can actually trigger him. Since his adoptive family was powerful and he was just a play card in their game, at school then he seemed to stay beside people with another power concept where he could feel he has his own place and he belongs to the stronger side for once. At the beginning that was Soo Ho. He had natural respect from others thanks to his martial arts and his attitude. Then when Young Yi came, she interrupted their pattern and Bum Seok resorted to find someone else who is socially powerful and can make him feel like he has firm ground under his feet. Somehow it made him see Soo Ho in a different light and made him feel like a victim being taken advantage of by the powerful ones again (like the guys who bullied him previously AND like his family). He overreacted on Soo Ho's arrogancy (and as much as I love him and would catch a bullet for him, he did act superior sometimes though he might have not even realised it). Bum Seok felt like he'd become somebody's puppet again and when you're not exactly right in your head it CAN do things even when it's something so little. In karaoke room despite Soo Ho trying to defend Bum Seok from his former bullies, Bum Seok already sensed the unhidden arrogancy in it. It didn't win his affection this time, on the contrary, he felt that some gratitude and dependence would be expected from him again. However, when he realized he went overboard with Soo Ho and actually almost killed him, suddenly this invincible persona crumbled down and it was the frightened Bum Seok again. The shock and fear pushed the violence away again. I think this is psychologically very complex process and it is explainable, but would of course take more time/episodes to feel more realistic. If you (or anyone else) made it this far then you deserve a price, anyways I just really started thinking about your questions and thought maybe it'd shed some light....🤷 😅

I'm heartbroken. SO heartbroken. They better give me season 2 💔 
PS. Everyone's acting was TOO DAMN BRILLIANT

Technically it got ruined because of their incapability to TALK about the issue, voice their emotions to each other and figure it out together as friends should 😕.... (teenagers 🤷 ) They literally tried to ask what's wrong but they got no answer or effort to try and get over it from the third person.... But then again, that incapability came from an abusive environment so it's a difficult cycle. Not to take the girl's side tho, I didn't get why she joined them so easily like that either. However, atleast she came to the damn hospital and really cared.  😓

Yes unfortunately. And like it's been said, also keep paddling around Sakuma-sensei was very tiring. Instead of that they could have focused on something else. By the way, this is not the first review of yours that I read. I always run into them with most of the dramas I watch and always think "Would you look at that! Here's another realistic review focusing on good points that I can relate to." 😅 I just wanted to thank you for that, just so you know. 🙏😂

First 5 or what episodes = great, funny, fresh, a lot happening, lovely, warm. Then the situations and dialoges just started repeating themselves and the characters kept reacting the same and I just wanted it to be over 😅 I didn't feel like we were getting anywhere and we were just being dragged in a circle. My opinion is it would have worked if it were cut from 12 eps to atleast 8 or less. My personal favorite savior of the day was Asuka 🧡🤝

His Tomorrow character performance made me fall in love. I also realized he appeared on dramas I had watched before and both his support characters back then I remember thinking "ohhh he's cute". I didn't realize why he felt so familiar in Tomorrow! 😂😇 Hopefully we'll get to see more of his incredible acting. ❤

Similar with me. I don't have the ability to put my perceptions into such structure, so I just read reviews and those that I lean towards the most I comment down below. I appreciate that there are people out there who can do that and I can atleast undersign 👌

Thank you for your honest review. I agree with it. At the beginning I was one of those as you'd said who thought it would be related to the western Little Women story. After couple of minutes I realized I'd been mistaken, but the story setting got me interested anyway. Must say that the first 4 episodes were very thrilling and tense and the pacing was great. I was hooked and really excited. But then suddenly it became a story about revenge AND even fantasy-ish? I didn't even find the rich intimidating family as an interesting enough antagonist. The youngest sister was completely useless to me and I barely got through her scenes. At first I thought the second sister would grow on me, however she and her attitude ended up being very annoying and unbearable. Half of the time I would just punch her for her ignorance and lack of empathy, especially towards her childhood friend who for some reason I don't realize had a lifelong crush on her. He deserved better. But the point is throughout the time I just started losing attention and any will to continue with the story. I still wanted to finish simply for In Joo and Do Il. I know that I tend to lose attention quickly if the plot or the characters are too dull or full of holes, and sometimes I wish I had lower standards for this since I don't enjoy unnecessary "hating". But I'm afraid this just won't be the case. 🙁 It's disappointing especially because the production otherwise is flawless. The shots, the camera, the setting of the scenes were incredible and just from the visual and material side it was incredibly pleasing to look at .

I hear you, but honestly I wouldn't go over 7.5 myself. The script, storytelling and character developement don't deserve it. Through second half of the series one doesn't even know what's going on, not one of those characters make you care. Too many things don't make sense, are not explained and are happening for no reason. That is hard to overlook. 🙁 If not even the worst dramas don't get a 3 or something then what does? 😅😐

I hear you. I literally had no idea why In Hye kept choosing the psycho family over her sisters who only always meant well for her and would carry the world on their shoulders for her. Even after she literally witnessed all the insanity and toxicity in their household. A very bad puberty I think? like...BAD. Also all of her screentime bores me to death 😅.

I support your review. It was a little surprising to me to see how many people rated 10 (mostly everyone?). I liked this drama a lot. It was one of the better ones that I've seen. I must say though that I had similar problems as you did. I was hooked in the first half (let's say ep05 to ep13?) but then the Last 6 or 7 episodes felt really draggy to me, I put it on hold and wouldn't even care how the story ends eventually, to be honest. In the end I did bring myself to finish it only because I really didn't want to give up and be haunted by it later...But I just needed to get it over with and it was tiring. I also got somewhat tired of female lead's repetitive dramatical reactions, unfortunately just shortly after I finally started thinking she isn't as bad and dense (no offense to anybody who is fond of her, I don't mean to attack anyone). 😅🤷‍♀️

His acting in Old fashion cupcake?!! Damn right amazing. He deserves to be seen 😳
