So in that context I really hope ZLH keep being picky about the roles he does .. and top notch scriptwriters pick him or write with him in mind ;-p

Exactly .. it is a serious downer, when your brilliant and super talented actor is 'wasted' in a mediocre script :-( or badly directed drama.

One more scenario is when a SUPER role play by an actor does not live up to his.her promise in a different drama.

One is not sure what happened - he/she was badly directed .. or the actor's skill is limited to that ONE role / type.

Strong / powerful actors can often swing EVEN a LOW GRADE script and carry the show. So it's their talent which turns things around for sure ;-p

Also some actors are VERY discerning about the PD team / scripts they choose .. and so repeatedly come off with flying colours.

I LOVE Bai Lu too .. So I had also tested out "Only for Love"

I strategised and decided to move away for a while from Period - let SOKP feelz have its full soak in - thus put MJTY on hold after 2 eps .. just as it's heating up, and decided to finish this modern one with Bai Lu first.

It should only increase the taste of MJTY ;-p when I return.

It's also my first Dylan Wang.

Dylan Wang is in EVER NIGHT 2 - I kind of made a face and got bugged at that because I had just finished EVER NIGHT 1 with the inimitable Chen Fei Yu (only he could DO a Ning Que .. you cant separate the actor from the role ;-D ). And even though I was dying to know what happened afterwards I dropped out. Tooooooo MAAAANY cast changes. Ridiculous to do that since so much loyalty was built up and invested in the fantastic cast of EVER NIGHT1.

So this would be a good way to check out Dylan Wang without any comparison with anyone .. He is SO high on the MDL fave actor list I got curious.

You know what that's the magic of Asian Drama .. we have this 'type' that sets our teeth on edge and the type that pulls us in.

It gives us insight into our own personalities in a way.
I think therapists could use Drama as a way to help clients 'get' a view into how their minds and emotions work and its triggers :-D

OH ABSOLUTELY cannot be moved or interested in 'pretty boys' actors who CANNOT act.

I have dropped SO many shows because even thought actor 'looks' great .. it's a BORING watch ..

If I wanted good looks only I'd flip through a glossy mag with MANY pretty faces who don't open their mouths .. because if they did .. Ummm .. I'd shut the mag LOL

I am ALSO a HUGE HUGE fan of Kim Tae Ri .. and I hope one day she gets to play a HOT role in a period drama ..
I SO dearly wished that the FL in MJTY (My Journey to You) had Kim Tae Ri opposite ZLH .. ROFL .. ooops that would mean Kdrama Agency Coordinate with CDrama Agency.

Ive seen her in 21-25 and in Mr Sunshine .. She would slay the role in MJTY.

The current FL casting is not cutting it for me .. Too "lippy" and cant see the knife sharp glint in her eyes / face
