Respectfully, anime and dramas are different mediums, so no, a good adaptation (of anything - books, games etc) never just copies the source material. But you do you. Tencent served everyone garbage and apparently some are eating it up. I guess we should expect more cheap adaptations aka cash grabs e in the future, at this rate they will never hire good actors or pour much money in production again. Cause why bother, just copy paste everything and people will gladly swallow it 🫠
I was really looking forward to this drama because of Jung Hae In but it is so tropey and the characters are so stupid, it’s unwatchable. Why would an adult woman hide from her parents in a box? Why do such good actors sign up for such cringe tropey scripts that look like they were written by a teenage fanfiction author? What a disappointment

Not to mention that the actor is acting the hell out of it
