that’s cause those are idol dramas. Sunshine By Mu Side is an urban workplace drama , it’s not meant for idol fans so you probably won’t be able to enjoy it

it’s part of the design 😂 maybe creative people like weird things like that . or maybe Sheng Yang’s mom got it at some clearance sale 🤣

you will be pleased to know then that XZ is getting recognition for his portrayal of Sheng Yang. these realistic characters are hard to nail even for some actors with more experience than XZ. so he’s getting praised left and right. Dramas like this one usually don’t get awards but who knows maybe that can change . would be nice actually because Sunshine By My Side is XZ’s best drama so far. hope for more down-to-earth characters like this one for him in the future

Xiao Zhan debuted about 5 years ago as an actor. there are quite a few fandoms out there that are unhappy with his rapid success. they even send bots to downrate his dramas on Douban, a Chinese drama/movie database. so MDL isn’t even the worst in this regard lol

because one of the actors has been accused of rape. iqiyi was afraid they would never be able to air this drama and lose investment. so they made people pay for VIP for XZ’s drama first and aired this the next day. shady platform

I think that because it’s too early to say that he is in love with her, it felt to me like he was sad for her. it must have hurt to see someone you have admired and put on a pedestal for years in such a pitiful state

at first I thought I was imagining things at first when his previous dramas were on air this summer. but turns out MDL admins are really like admins of those Douban groups , they are jealous of Xiao Zhan and the quality of his works so they won’t treat them fairly. they should know that this will not make their favourite Chinese actors more successful though
