I came to this page because I want to watch The Longest Promise. I am asking fans of other actors/projects who happen to have some animosity towards this drama to kindly excuse themselves from this page.
You can’t come here and attack fans using offensive language (you can edit your messages all you want, I have screenshots), when no one even mentioned your favorite actress or drama. This page is supposed to be a safe space for fans and viewers of The Longest Promise. Why hasn’t it aired yet? Didn’t Tencent promise to air it this summer 😑 it’s already the middle of August
That’s what they do. They lie about how they are going to air Xiao Zhan’s dramas and then air some flops instead in the best timeslot to at least save some investment money . Cause they know his dramas will make money regardless. They also give priority to projects that don’t have good actors but are willing to sell cp instead. Sad but true 🤷

It has happened before though, so le actors had more than 2 dramas air at the same time due to poor scheduling. And Yang Mi is one of Tencent spokespersons, last year Tencent also promised to air a Xiao Zhan drama but aired their female spokesperson’s drama instead. Unfortunately, Tencent never prioritizes anything Xiao Zhan, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up for the longest promise
Xiao Zhan is really one of the best young actors in China!! The word is he is going to reprise his role as Patient no 5 in A Dream Like A Dream stage play 😍

All the reviews I have seen so far from people who have actually watched the drama are very good. It also has good word of mouth on the Chinese side. I highly recommend you check out this drama, I think the dvd version is available on Wetv app
I don’t think the downvoting can change anything for this drama cause it is still a great drama anyways. But I feel like MDL admins should do something about the mass downvotes here before it’s too late. If they allow antis to bully this one projects, the sad trend will continue with others too. I am urging the administration of My Drama List to step up and deal with the issue
I haven’t seen anything like this drama in a long time. I highly recommend watching it, the whole cast is doing a great job. The world is in such a turmoil right now, the Oath of Love feels like a breath of fresh air. I already feel like I am going to be rewatching it multiple times

I am not sure I get your point. Tencent could have aired OOL a long time ago (got the copyright back from HunanTV/found another station/ aired it on web/or even simply staged that weibo drama they did in August a year earlier). But first they played dead waited for xz to get destroyed during 227, later when it didn’t happen they were too corrupt to push for OOL and prioritized other dramas (by bribery, hence the arrest of some producers). They are just as dirty as HunanTV. And it makes sense cause Tencent is a huge company with many capitals and interests involved and not everyone there likes xz. So I don’t see the point in trying to whitewash them. All of them are guilty of ruining OOL. You’re welcome
