All the reviews I have seen so far from people who have actually watched the drama are very good. It also has good word of mouth on the Chinese side. I highly recommend you check out this drama, I think the dvd version is available on Wetv app

I don’t think the downvoting can change anything for this drama cause it is still a great drama anyways.
But I feel like MDL admins should do something about the mass downvotes here before it’s too late. If they allow antis to bully this one projects, the sad trend will continue with others too. I am urging the administration of My Drama List to step up and deal with the issue

I haven’t seen anything like this drama in a long time. I highly recommend watching it, the whole cast is doing a great job. The world is in such a turmoil right now, the Oath of Love feels like a breath of fresh air. I already feel like I am going to be rewatching it multiple times

I am not sure I get your point. Tencent could have aired OOL a long time ago (got the copyright back from HunanTV/found another station/ aired it on web/or even simply staged that weibo drama they did in August a year earlier). But first they played dead waited for xz to get destroyed during 227, later when it didn’t happen they were too corrupt to push for OOL and prioritized other dramas (by bribery, hence the arrest of some producers). They are just as dirty as HunanTV. And it makes sense cause Tencent is a huge company with many capitals and interests involved and not everyone there likes xz. So I don’t see the point in trying to whitewash them. All of them are guilty of ruining OOL.

I am sorry but you seem a bit naive 😅 Did you see the way Tencent suppressed and shunned Douluo Continent? Their most watched drama in 2021. And the way they rumored OOL for August and then pushed another romance drama down everyone’s throat? Tencent is a just as guilty as HunanTV. If they wanted (or maybe if OOL investors paid them more than the other drama whose producer is now under investigation on for bribery), they would have aired it a long time ago

Lol chill. Everyone dies in the end. I just know that the story in Mirror Twin Cities takes place well long after the story of Shi Ying and Zhu Yan, it’s about their descendants. So I assume they both are supposed to be dead by then. If it was a spoiler of any kind, it wouldn’t have made it in the drama. No one knows anything about the ending of The Longest Promise yet. So how come knowing that people who lived decades or centuries before the characters in MTC had probably died is a spoiler? 🤦🏼‍♀️

The teaser was released one month into the shooting, no one even expected them to actually post it lol No need to badmouth a drama you haven’t watched. They will have had one year of post production since after the teaser aired until the actual premiere, I am sure the cgi will be fine

Well , many people had a great 2021. But a popularity award is a popularity award, there’s no way around it. Maybe Weibo should just cancel the King category altogether or come up with another one and give it to whoever they want who’s can’t get the votes
