After checking again, I found out they were works from the same company but written by different authors, and it turns out they all share a universe called Blue String.

I agree some of them. Every time I watch Asian dramas, I feel like someone resembles someone else. And it’s not limited to Asians for me — I even think some Asian celebrities look like Western celebrities too. Maybe I should do a list too :D
It started off really strong, and I’m enjoying it so far. It looks like it’s going to be a mature romance, which is exactly what I’m in the mood for. The characters are smart and well-developed, and the political elements don’t feel like superficial fillers like in other romance dramas. I hope it keeps this up.
unpopular opinion but tbh i can see this working if there's a timeskip between s1 and s2.
Yes, but the actor is getting older too. (I’m thinking there would only be a short time skip.) Besides, the suggested actor is younger, so I don’t really understand the choice. Also, from what I’ve observed, people don’t change that drastically. I even find it a bit odd when they cast different actors to play the high school versions of main leads who are in their 30s or 40s. (Side note: I haven’t read the webtoon.)

I think people today are more inclined to give higher ratings. Many older TV series that were rated 7 would probably deserve at least an 8 when compared to today’s shows. I also believe that ratings were shaped by comparisons with other productions airing in the same period. Nowadays, truly good series are quite rare, which makes me think that standards have declined. As a result, a slightly above-average production can automatically receive an 8. In the past, there were more high-quality shows and much stronger competition, and the ratings reflected that. For example, if you look at the Oscar-nominated films of the 1990s, many of them were truly outstanding and the competition was very strong. It’s harder to say the same about today’s films, so when a good film is released, everyone tends to hype it quite a lot. I also agree with you on this: series that receive 8 or 9 points today often feel weaker to me than series that received 7 points in the past.
I'm on episode 5 but such a stupid, reckless FL. She came for revenge but didn't even bother to hide. If it weren't for the male lead, she would have been dead by now. I hope it gets better later, I don't want to drop it.
