The last 2 episodes was a mess. Lots of stupid things. Mostly FL. There is so much to say. Why Ye bun didn't touch Gwang-Sik ahjeoshi before he dies? Why Gwang Sik ahjeoshi just didn't tell the name of the killer instead of word black? Why Seon woo didn't give the evidence to dedectives? (They won't believe me is no excuse). Why Shaman doesn't remember anything? Most importantly why would Yebun left Seon woo while he is fighting with killer? And then she turns back. Why even bother there was enough time for killer to kill Seon woo. What exactly she expected? Same when she left Mujin Coffee Shop worker. She really act recklessly and stupid this whole time. And in trailers she blame Jang Yeol for this. He warned everytime her but she still go with Seon woo. At least she should have been cautious. Sorry but I think 2 people died because of her stupidity. Extra: How could't Jang Yeol defeat the killer while they were fighting? This should be easy for him since he was able to defeat many people himself in previous episodes. On top, the killer had a disadvantage since he is covering his eyes and face. It was almost as if he hadn't tried at all. At this point it seems scenarists make it all about psychometry instead of solid evidences.
Till episode 8 Zhao Wo Huan had his massive, heavy sword but suddenly at episode 8 (puppet li island) that sword disappeared or turned into Li family's sword (rather small). I just don't understand how it is possible. He didn't bring that sword with him when they left Han Yue Villa. It just magically happened after Jian Bu Zhi gave him Li Family's sword technique manuscript.
I've watched first 12 episodes. It wasn't bad but it is so slow that I felt tired last episodes. Slowness makes some dramas beautiful but I feel like this is not the one. Doesn't motivate me to watch the next episode.
I can tolerate technical problems (esp. in Chinese Dramas because there is always one so that I used to it :D) even though I find it annoying if it has a good plot, characters or chemistry etc. (Like camera angles, scene transitions, the way ML looking the wrong way etc.). But since there is no movement, motion in those episodes I unintentionally focus these problems much more.
I was expecting more mature or intense romance (whatever you call it) from this drama as the vibe the cover and the summary gaves me but it is more like childish love. Like a young boy falls for his teacher by himself. I mean that's not bad in some dramas but for this drama I can't adapt. I even looked at the positive side like we could see ML character development, growing up etc and I like that but I feel like there should be some year skip so that we can see ML more mature, not just following FL.
I don't know if I could continue this drama since I already felt tired but I guess I'll try because I love Republican Dramas.
P.S. I wish I could explain some points more clearly but English is not my first language so I feel like I missed some points.
Actually this is not a comparison like on title because I am not sure if that place was used in other dramas but when I see this article, the house from Korean drama Forest (2020) where main leads leave together came to my mind. That was most memorable house for me I guess (or maybe because I watched it 1 year ago :D) But I couldn't take its proper screenshots or find it on the internet. That was such a lovely house wish I could see that house in articles like this. I remember another house I like : the house from Ra Raerng Fai where Penkwan (moral sister of ML if I remember correctly) lives. It had such a large and beautiful garden like it was a national park.
