Are these the lyrics to the Clementine song? It seems in the song Clementine was "light she was like a fairy" but still had big feet ("And her shoes were number nine"), and these "big feet" of hers led to her demise when they hit against a wood splinter. I wonder if young MY's mother sang this as a warning to never gain enough courage to walk away from her mother (this courage can be symbolized by Clementine's big feet) or else MY would face irreparable consequences (Clementine's death by wood splinter). I'm also thinking the splinter in the song could symbolize the "prince" (Gang Tae) Moon Young's mother wants to keep MY away from. I might be digging too much into this, but it would be interesting if my theory holds some truth.

I don't think a drama has been so addicting for me before this one, maybe in a somewhat similar way to how addicting super dramatic shows like gossip girl are, but damn kudos to this for making me want to rip out all of my hair and in almost every episode! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to switch it up and experience something different than the usual drama, because this is one hell of a ride.

This drama is just soooo good so far, so are the low-ish viewership ratings on the episodes caused by people in Korea watching it on Netflix instead? I really can't think of any other reason why people wouldn't be watching this!!

I love the approach they are taking with this show and the wacky touches in it elevate it even more. Also, the episode 3 post-credits scene was everything!!!

ive watched this more than i can count and each time i find something new that i hadn't noticed before, bong joon ho really is something!! i love this film to bits and watching it in theaters was like an experience i never had before

I never expected this to be the most addicting show I've ever watched but here I am finishing the whole thing in 4 days during the school week... yes my grades are flopping but it was WORTH IT
