Just finished the 16th episode.

The first episodes were great but then boring boring predictable and then weird end. The best thing was the main villain, and the second best thing male lead playing a woman - he was really great at it. But that's basically all. Romance was really painful for me to watch.

On Melting Me Softly Nov 21, 2019
Badly written story and dialogues - I thought I am watching a drama like from 10 years ago. Two wonderful leads couldn't have saved it, especially ChJW character basically had no character, no flavor and the childish behavior at 32 was bit too much.

Hi, there is a tag Czech Republic. Can someone who watched it tell me how is my county related to this? I might…
Robot Nam Shin was created in Karlovy Vary, so part of the first episode happens in our lovely country. It was really funny to hear spoken Czech language in Korean drama, haha.

They left it like the book, no ending even though for the author, it is a completed book. Lol
Is there any explanation of Chen Yue character in the book? Why was he so focused on Azuler?

Do you know why is subbing so slow compared to other Chinese dramas? And the same goes for Love and destiny... Both are quite in limelight but surprisingly other dramas get subbed much faster. Many thanks :-)

Can somebody who read the book comment on the scene from an opening song where she is in a bridal dress with the doctor who saved her life in ep 20? Is she gonna marry him?

So far ep 8 and I must say that it is a very pleasant surprise. It is sweet, cliché, pink and cheesy but still nice cheesy and not cringy. Nice for break :-)

On The Smile Has Left Your Eyes Nov 23, 2018
haha, the ending took me as a big surprise, didn't know it was jdrama remake, which explains a lot: especially Moo Yong' s character was very interesting. I liked his ambivalence to good and evil. He wasn't typical kdrama bad guy. It looks there is a new trend in dramaworld - broken characters (My ahjusshi, Just between lovers) which is very refreshing. Also seeing main couple together acting tender without being cheesy. They both fall quite hard for each other. I liked they had a normal relationships with skinship without any fuss (good chemistry). It gave much deeper meaning Moo Young's heartbreak when he thought Jin Kang is his sister.

One of the most important positive thing for me was that I couldn't predict what's gonna happen in the next scene. How rare in dramaworld! With korean dramas, sometimes you know the screenwriter is afraid to pull out the edge (we have playboys but they never sleep with anyone, we have bad boys but they eventually turn as good guys, etc). But here, Moo Young is quite indifferent about Seaung Ah's death, stabbing, shooting happens almost by the way. Nice nice. Ending may be tragic but quite fitting - maybe more as it looks like suicide due to a note. How can a dismissed police officer oppose chaebol power without any backing? Leaving it as suicide without murder's punishment was cherry on top.

The only negative was Jin Gook's story. Okay, I get that he didn't want his sister to know about past but as he experienced the guilt from killing someone and repeatedly accused Moo Young of murderer (one the main reason not wanting them to be together), he stabbed him so easily. It wasn't consistent with the character so far in the show, thus he became a bit irritable character. We never received the proper explanation. On contrary, Moo Young's shooting was with the show flow: bad or good he never had any limits from start, he always did what he wanted.

Wonderful OST developed the right mood and helped to complete the scene. Music isn't very noticeable, but very very good, especially placement.

May not watch again, but definitively emotion rollercoaster worthy of your time.

Your statement summend it up perfectly. You have my full support!Oh, how I hate those barbie girls running after…
Yes, bloody romance was also quite nice surprise :-) I would say it is on the track but got stuck halfway through. Also Rise of phoenixes was above average.

Episode 6 and this drama is a big surprise. I expected another Fights break sphere, Martial universe etc. No perfect make-up, flying hair, costumes, no pink dresses or cherry trees in blossom instead you can expect a bloodbath, vicious fights and likeable characters. So far chliché story but well paced with fitting ost. Settings and costumes are on new wave of c-drama: bit more authentic. Nice. But as we know in drama world everything can change with latter episodes :-)

Actors were wonderful, good chemistry but the story is too cliché, too much plotholes. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I really like just a pure fluffy story full of cliché (chaebol, genius ML), but the line with aunt was weird, uninteresting. How he can forgive an attempted murder? Especially with the doctor who broke an oath to protect a patient's life, that's too unbelievable. Also characters were too 2 dimensional - Ma Sung didn't show any struggle whether it is right to date her and die on her, not thinking about emotional scar leaving his death. I don't mean that he shouldn't date her, but just to at least have struggle about it. Anyway it is a good filler when you are in between or wanna try some easy-going drama.

One of a very few chinese drama which managed ending. I mean no cliffhanger, finished story with all the explanation we need, ending for each character and what's more - everything is quite logical. In Legend of Fu Yao I really liked first 20 ep and quite mature relationship between main leads but ending was quite typically rushed and unsatisfying. Here strangely, for me the middle of drama was not as much interesting as episodes towards the end.

Maybe not a really good idea to watch this drama after masterpiece like Life on Mars. So many plotholes, irritating characters and very predictable and unsatisfying ending: ok, so maybe he is able to feel, but what about getting old, children, etc.

On Something in the Rain May 23, 2018
Started incredibly and during first few episodes I thought "wow"...loved the characters, music, slow paced scenes trying to convey the feeling of fleeting moment. Then I everything I liked about the drama became irritating and nonsensical.
If you have so-so drama, you are ok with plot holes, glad if at least one of the main actors can act, you are more willing to be merciful. But here, the bar of expectation was lifted quite high at the beginning, so the disappointment was also big.

The child actress was wonderful as always (Let's skip unrealistic adult like way of thinking for child). So cute~~~~

Definitively one of my favorite 2017. It has been long time since I cried so hard throughout the whole drama. 12 ep was just enough for good pace. A bit cliché story but with fresh touches.
