Everybody is praising both actors and I can only agree. Lee Joon Gi's micro expression changes were so thrilling...I was so happy to finally see him in a different role which enabled to show us his great acting skills. His recent years characters until this drama were pretty similar characters = heroes saving the day :-) So here, I felt...finally I can see you act wonderfully again. And love his voice...so magnetic. I have a question:
1) Can someone explain to me what was he? Clearly not psychopath, when he has feeling for FL, daughter and sister...he was able to cry, worry etc.
2) What about the recorder? Do Hyun Soo clearly erased all the recordings and returned it empty to his journalist friend, so I don't understand when cops found it, it contained voices.
The only dissatisfaction with this drama is it turned to be too vanilla - I started to suspect production around ep 8. Somehow the most thrilling end for me would be that he would kill the accomplice without any remorse, staged it as self-defense or made his body to disappear forever, lied about it to police and his wife...living with her happily :-) And in the last camera shot he would looked at us with complex look telling us, maybe maybe he really loves her or maybe he just pretends...hehehe

Very average story plot, dialogues, evil characters... with one redeeming quality...both F and M leads :-) I enjoyed them together a lot :-) Super Duper Chemistry...

Great chemistry of MC does a lot for a drama with not so original story plot...and so many kisses :-))) One of a few where it maintained the same quality even at the end...as we know most of the dramas have declining tendency towards the end.

Love FL...this is the third role where I saw her and I must say that I am impressed. Each role (Military, Dance, Love) has different vibe...we have seen so many spunky FL played by many actresses, but Wu Jia Yi managed to create character which exceeds this type of role...her Yu Xing will be one the most memorable characters of ch-dramaland 2020, at least for me.

it would be hard to rate them cause i saw them ages ago but can write an order from most liked: chinese, korean,…
In my opinion characters were the most mature here and ML was best written of all versions.

This is an old drama classic so story is a bit outdated...over the years we moved from typical villain type of characters but what can we do here...they need to follow the original story plot at least in the main parts. So from all the versions I liked this one most cause characters were most mature here, especially ML character was improved...although he never admitted it was his mistake to cheat but we can see his remorse. Plus TP has a great chemistry although we couldn't enjoy it much in the last bunch of episodes.

For me, this chinese rom-com was a really nice surprise. It has typical stereotype aspects and plot, but dialogs and how the cliché scenes unfolds was refreshing. I may be biased cause I really loved the actress - she was a star. I got feeling that she can really act and her silliness and naughtiness was so cute and lovely...from experience most of drama watchers know it is not easy to pull off...many actress come across as annoying, too dumb... The chemistry was cool and we've got real kisses :-) I didn't feel I need to forward which says a lot :-))))

On A Piece of Your Mind May 28, 2020
This year we have 3 Korean slow-paced character driven dramas: A Piece of Your Mind, Find me in your memory and When the weather is fine. Each drama has wonderful characters with endearing and unique characteristic...you will fall in love with them (like people from Homestay). First half or until 8th ep of each drama it is really good, but problem is always the second half :-) Here, we have only 12 episodes which is beneficial to plot...no unnecessary dragging. In "Weather" character development stopped around 8th, but fortunately here we can see slow progress until the end. Negative: some scenes repetitive and missing some important events, for example reaction when Ha Won receives a news about Ji Soo from Norway. All in all, those 3 dramas have strong characters while plot is weaker especially towards the end. For me, I liked most Find me in your memory. Oh, and music was really great - not every drama can work so well with classic music.

Title Reborn
Slow-paced police drama with gloomy and depressing mood. I loved grey and darker settings of the of Chinese metropole where everyone feels alone and disconnected from others. You could almost breathe bleakness which was underlined as our ML suffers from existential crisis. Excellent drama.

For me the best part of the drama was sense of humor in the first part... how our FL has a talent to land in funny situations or how her friend draw a hand of a professor :-))) It was also nice to see they portrayed different types of love in relationships.

I loved Fox and Fish couple - they had a great chemistry and were funny couple. Up to ep 19 I would give 9,0 but something happened with later episodes which I would rate 6,0. I know that towards the end most of dramas go down with quality but here, at least for me, it was a quite big jump/difference. Why EVERY case does FL needs to be captured, saved? It was never ending circle. I lost interest in main couple which also became a bit weird with so many unspoken thing between them...

On The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty May 10, 2020
It has wonderful settings, costumes and everything but if you take a story and omit the main part, it leaves empty shell. The start up was fine - lead were getting to know each other, it had fun, spark and there was some development in characters. But after while there is nothing new, just solving case after case with big boom at the end. I know it is BL based story and I am ok with just a bromance, but to build a whole plot was kind of weak here. Take for example korean "The Country" where it main focus is friendship of 2 ML - the story isn't perfect, but if you want to base a story on friendship, it was much better done here.

Also could you recommend me serious crime kdramas? I can't find anymore since i watched most of them. (Preferably…
without romance i would recommend Stranger = Forest of lies and Life on Mars. I like them a lot. Again, they are on my top shelf together with Signal and few more :-)
