I just couldn't get into the story...the story and characters were too 2D, nothing new in story plot and some scenes seemed overly dramatic. The best thing form me was OST - a very very good one for Chinese drama.

We have 61 eps but our CP fall in love with each in the very first ep and manage to sleep together. I don't find romance interesting when basically everything happens in few first ep....and it was same here. The romance for me was quite boring and it was hard to find reasons why they both liked each other. Compared to Rebel princess characters felt 2D and not very convincing, plots not very interesting... I gave up around 22nd ep.

Exquisite is the word I connect with this drama. Exquisite architecture, nature, costumes and characters. It was so much detailed in settings - I loved the wet ground after rain + rain was used so well and timely to build up the feeling of melancholy or desolation. This drama works so well with moods, feelings and ambience - playing with light and shadows. The palaces and huge villas have exquisite architecture but what intrigued me that they didn't forget about corridors. Cause in ancient time many things happened in them, they were important part of building structures. I also appreciate nature sceneries and garden yards which looked so natural and beautiful (hoho, no peach or cherry in blossom), again one of the best. And the costumes - fusion of modern touch based on history. They were one of the best I have ever seen in historic drama. Even though the princess dress has only basically two cuts/forms I loved them all - always wondering which color combination and patterns she is gonna wear in the next scene. The rich hue of blue with golden pattern were my favorite one + pearls on hems were really nice touch (really genius was the row of pearls on the back going from neck down on the green dress). So cool. Both FL and ML have one of the best bearing of nobility I have ever seen. ML is exactly how I imagine the ancient brave and virtuous hero looked like, he had a very strong presence. Not many actors can pull off that. Basically every actor and actress here were beyond expectation, on parr with their characters. None of them I found annoying as it is common with most dramas. I get that it can be irritating that so many males fall in love with our FL but I didn't mind it here. Her quality was endearing - weak woman with steel backbones. Usually we got fighters=rush characters or very clever in every situation. Awu retains her feminine noble bearing and is generous benevolent because she can be...she is above to kick opponent who is already down. Don't get me wrong, too much goody two-shoes usually gets me riled up, but here it was so consistent with her character and with story. She was a woman who did her best in difficult situations and at the same time she didn't try to act above the social limitation and expectation for female in that period of time. She really was a princess, rebel princes :-)

I usually more comment on FL but here, I must say the ML character was so entertaining. Very laid back (not so Chinese), cocky, so confident in work and with women. He is a rare character among ML cause we usually get cold, aloof or good, earnest, with no dating history. I didn't realize that it's the actor I saw in the Rebel princess, cause he is there very different. To portray characters so differently, with different inner energy is a talent, so I will look forward to his future works. FL was also great and their chemistry was off the charts, but we got to see that just a few times here and there. The story got potential but there was something lacking towards the second half.

I loved all 3 FL. Each of them has their own charm, spunk and character. It's not typical rom-com. The humor is soft, dry, more like life-situational and so funny :-)

Title Hello, Me!
Story plot comes like from previous previous decade...especially when FL meets good grandpa who is CEO...for me it was too much cliché without adding anything new to the story...the best thing was 17 years old Ha Na - the actress was great...the rest was...there was no convincing reason for ML to like FL except that she saved him as a child from bullying and that he was touched when she was crying... for me there was no chemistry, expectation and I definitely wasn't looking forward to kiss.

I watched most of it on 1.5 speed and skipped through boring business stuffs, it's quite enjoyable that way, but…
It was same for me...the best thing was MC chemistry...they carried drama on.

Lovely characters. There are many and I loved almost all of them...the interaction between basically every person was so funny. And so much barter and sparks made me constantly smile while watching the show. Romance, bromance, mother-daughter-son, daughter-father, boss-secretary...I enjoyed all of them. FL actress is a gem with her rare spunkiness, assertiveness - I am looking forward to her future roles. The only negative are of course subs, story plot is weaker to make it run for 40 eps...but there is natural development of all characters as the story continues. And very good OST :-)

I liked it a lot...got a bit feeling of Ming Lan. Among many things that were written, there was also one strong undertone in drama. That kindness can change others and this message is quite rare. As a modern people we live more according to never give another possibility to slap your face - once is enough, therefore in many cases I wished FL would say something to her sister or mother in law... But in the end I actually really liked how a writer wrote this story plot - her kindness and perseverance changed people around her...that was quite strong and nice message :-)

I love the show but what are these hairstyles that they are giving her? They are not it
Actually I was also thinking about her hairstyle but differently... in a way "hey, finally FL has normal and practical hairstyle which suit her work" so I appreciate it :-) Perfect make-up and for example police woman running in heels is no-no for me so in a similar way I appreciated FL in Tell me what you saw :-)

Can you please suggest a drama that is almost like this one?
Some are already listed. There is also Nobody knows, I think that also Children of nobody has killer, Missing Noir and there is more with tag serial killer but different genre like Psychopath diary, Come and hug me or Chinese Evil minds.

I think Dong Shik sister's murder should be connected to someone who wants to redevelop the city, cause it plot line must have some reason there.

Over the top and over combined. To make it more interesting, they make every character at some point looking guilty but for it sucks cause in order to do it, the characters behavior is over the top or even illogical. Yeo Jin Goo is as always wonderful, but his character suffers from bad writing - so far he comes as prick which is quite unprofessional (but has the best police education) I don't need to like every character but he is too wishy washy...in drama like this we need likable figure so we have suffering Dong Shik but...I get he is grief stricken so he maniacally laughs quite often but it is too often and in strange situations so it mostly comes as unnatural. And is there somewhere normal dialog which excludes shouting or accusations? Plus I don't really get when he found fingertips and phone why he didn't call police and start searching, but quite calmly he attend dinner session... So from my point of view we have good actors but poor storytelling.

Most characters were quite lovable. Preferred more second pairing cause it gave more sense. Don't understand why they are still using clumsy troupe for FL - falling, stumbling :-(((( sooooo maaaannny times. Drama is nice fluff with weak story and likable characters.

On L.U.C.A.: The Beginning Mar 10, 2021
OST is very good and it so cleverly used in appropriate scenes. I prefer happy endings but here I think it was whole point of the drama - what is a human? How to define it? Just being born as one or it's cause our culture and morality? We saw that Zi O was more human than humans but slowly step by step he is changing by human-monsters and then he become one... It think this drama tries to be warning of not being afraid of different, not being influenced by prejudice. The weakness of this drama is ugliness of characters - every character has some weak spot that is emotionally exploited by others (especially FL since ep 8 her dumb decisions are so irritating) - and that some roles seems almost immortal (repeatedly being alive again and again) which was towards the end irritating but again it wasn't without meaning. Lee Son role was how pride and stubbornness can also make you monster, so it was about development in his character. Dramas about ugliness in us (what people can do) are never easy...we have Vincenzo which takes more funny approach, but here it was raw, therefore not easy to watch.

Nice drama with slower pacing and good cinematography. Settings were captivating, music good and acting wonderful. No big plotholes but sometimes how they investigated was a bit funny. I saw ML in Princess agents and then here, in both roles he was great and will look forward to his acting. His characters definitively stand among the sea other similar roles played by different actors. And I loved the FL husky voice, so cool :-)

I now doubt if Jang Jun Woo actually liked the FL or not. I don't think he liked her. Or maybe yess?
My guess is...I would say that he decided to intern under her cause her father, to be close and under watch with better access to get father's info. He might like her in his limited way but it can't never stand against his plots to gain more money, power.

With most antihero dramas we have ML which is on the edge but never quite fall over. One of such fine examples is Flower of evil. The edge is what makes us wonder whether ML will succumb to evil/murder/psychopatic tendencies...but here is something refreshing cause the starting point is that our hero has already fallen. And that is something which cannot be redeemed, forgiven so I am very curious in which direction the director will lead us...

I expected something darker with a guy who can shoot or cut off a human ear...but so far I am loving it. I almost cracked when ML - a big mafia shot - got robbed and was shouting "Korea merde", kkkk.

Refreshing interview format plus one of a few dramas with romance aspect where there's no amusement park date, umbrella scene, coffee and cinema date...hurrah:-)
