Life isn't Fine it's Stormy & Messy
This series is a perfect example of having multiple diverging storylines & doing them well. Wrapping up each one with a conclusion that the viewer can empathize with & appreciate at the same time. I developed my love for the Actor Seo Kang Joon in this series. He has the most expressive face & his eyes tell all. I re-watched & enjoyed it the 2nd time more than the 1st. Park Min Young played such a beautiful character, she depicted how devastating it is for a friend to betray you especially in school. The story really shows how emotional devastation effects each character. The actors Moon Jung Hee & Kim Bo Young are significant in the movement of the story Fantastic series a must watch But do not expect a fast pace it is a slow pace like the country side it is depictingWas this review helpful to you?

Finally a Korean Adult BL
Wow, Korea has stepped up the game. Although it starts in high school it quickly becomes an adult BL. I love that it doesn't shy away from skinship, whether it be kissing , or just an open knowledge that these characters are having sex. It is real Finally, it showcases the complexity of not only being gay but how to navigate life with dealing with pretty much abuse from all angles. Not only does it show how different each character deals with abuse, it also shows how you can adjust and overcome just about anything. Lee Soon s character upbeat, fun but emotionally available & willing to accept people for who they are no matter the circumstances. Jang Yeon Woo beautiful to look at but played such a flawed character. Kim Nu Rim the centre figure of the drama , was just beautifully played in every aspect. It really showed how a child is affected by continued abuse . He was such closed off character. This will not be a forgotten Drama. Beautiful written directed with the correct actors able to convey the amazing range of emotion in the drama A must see for sureWas this review helpful to you?

Doona What!!
First you can never hang the whole drama on the fact that you have an Idol. Bae Suzy acting did nothing to enhance the drama . Doona character smoked cigarettes well, did sexy well, had zero chemistry with the lead & displayed the angst of stardom. Other than that unless you are a Bae Suzy fan could have left it. I watched because of the way Vang Se Jong performed in the series. He was awesome & the supporting cast did a great job as well. The ending was anti climatic but I found that the most believable part of the series. It did show well the angst between Doona & Lee Won Joon mostly because of Vang Se Jong's acting ability. Bae Suzy was very pretty & extremely sexy & that to me is where her character began & endedWas this review helpful to you?
Not alot of Touching
There are some films that just resonate with you as a person -- Yonehara Kosuke character would be relatable to any quiet disillusioned adult -- who hasn't been effected by a betrayal & who also hasn't been pulled out of your slump by a Taniguchi Masashi eternal optomism & acceptance == I love Japanese films full stop -- they get the angst of the human condition better & it is portrayed by Japanese actors amazingly -- I find there is always a sexually preverted edge to these films but in No Touching at All it is used effectively to propelled a very slow moving plot -- this isn't an action , nor is it an overtly sexual film , it is more a film that shows how a person's hurt can be overcome & healed when the right companion comes alongWas this review helpful to you?

Love comes Slowly
I like this BL because it is about many forms of love. It has a big family dynamic & the story stays true to it's simplicity It has every type of couple & the way each navigates liking each other Really displays how teenagers approach their feelings without becoming toxic with bullys and toxic parents It is a feel good series If your looking for action and interaction this is not the series to watch But if you want to watch a series on a do nothing saturday that leaves you with some hope for a better more inclusive world This is a very good series to watch The acting is top notch for the most part As usual a little over acted in some parts but I truly enjoyed it from start to finishWas this review helpful to you?

Soccer or no Soccer that is the question
I'm getting the feeling that Korean BL is attempting to replicate Thai BL's Please do not do that Don't promote the series based on an the mains having a real life relationship As a fan I just want to see them act most of us don't need to be titillated with nonsense The story had so much promise, the actors once again did their best Except for some of the forced kissing scenes and the multitude of story lines Why why less is always more when it comes too a series Who doesn't love alpha males falling in love Great got most of us there but then it down graded into Park Jong Hun playing a loved besotted idiot and Ko Deok Won being the aggresive but not really love interest The idea of them both being fans of each other was a hook that kept me interested but it didn't really play out wellWas this review helpful to you?

IT'S A CRUSH
I binged watched this series, found it very entertaining but it went about 2 episodes too long. The confession in the 1st episode was so awful for the Han Ba Ram, it just set you up to really love the character & learn to hate Sangin. Im Han Tea was just the best of friends who finally realized he loved Han Ba Ram. For a moment you thought that maybe he would be another rejection . Sangin although beautiful to look at was an awesome villian of the series. I liked this drama, loved the band comradery and the singing was also wonderful. I think Korean bl's are getting more and more interesting & providing more real life issues. Making them less about hiding & rejecting your sexuality & more about the love that exists and the acceptanceWas this review helpful to you?

BRUTAL VISERAL HONEST
Maybe I reacted to this drama in such an emotional way because our world is on fire right now. But, even if that was a factor this drama was beyond emotional & as a divorced person I could relate to the brutality that comes from being cheated on, used & ultimately cast aside. This drama correctly depicts that no one person comes out innocent no matter who is the cheater. It showed adults at their absolute worst, funny as per usual the children paid the price & the children were the only voice of reason in the drama. It was surreal to see the women make the meals, keep the house & raise the children mostly on their own again so relatable. I would suggest every married person no matter what gender or sexuality watch this drama it should be watched before anyone reacts to the ending of a marriage. It will stay with me for a very long time, no need to re-watch I won't ever forget it. The actors all did their job & I hope they were paid very well. Was this review helpful to you?

Want RomCom
This is a conflict driven romance/drama. Both leads have issues with betrayal. So the series start with the plot pretty much laid out . What makes this so delectable are your main characters. Sung Hoon a true alpha male & Song Ji Eun the cute girl, who needs her big strong man. Sung Hoon can make any heart flutter, he is handsome, his voice is strong & he brings a sensitivity to this character. I love how they brought in the swimming since he came from a professional swimming background. Song Ji Eun played that girl, you know the adorable , the beautiful, but cute, but strong, but needs her man & has so much angst from her upbringing. All in all it is a series I could watch over and over. Whenever a person needs that feel good hit this is a must have. Not to mention the supporting cast was stellar, there wasn't any bad acting that I could see .Was this review helpful to you?

Smut for Smuts sake
Smut (obnoxious sexual) scenes for the sake of cheap thrills is not what a true movie watcher is after. Sex with no substance or in this case plot is not erotic or entertaining It's cheap!!!! I feel sorry for these actors cause they are beautiful to look at but this series is doing them no favors. I am not impressed by tongue action I have to have a story to follow and appreciate otherwise it's just cheap Porn & no one wants that Sorry will not be watching the series at this point time is too precious to waste onthis nonsenseWas this review helpful to you?

Stimulating Law Series
Love Love Love this series , I wait with anticipaiton for the new episode and I love that they drop one each day over the weekend. It has never failed to engage the viewer & also show a different legal system. The story each episode has been done so well. you never quite know what they will bring out next & I am here for it. Age Gap Love seems to be a target with some viewers but get with the program Age gap love is a big part of our world these days. I am here for the age gap , the fact that he is her superior and with the other story of age gap she is his superior Don't care -- everyone deserves love and they are slow burning it & it maks their story all the more authenic He isn't attacted to her youth it is her mind & she isn't attacted to his status but his extreme kindness & character Fantastic showNew addition to this review--finished watching & I had a viseral reaction of pure disappointment because I would have loved this to be a series and go on and on. There are some pretty fantastic story lines that could have been explored, especially an age gap romance between our main leads. But they left the ending ambiguous so I prefer to think that Kye Hyo-min & Yoon Seok Hoon got together and had beautiful babies.

Finally Real Life
Episode 1-8 the narrative of Reality never relents . Whatever the sexual orientation this speaks to Love universally . How we get it, keep it, accept it & appreciate it. It is a hard hitting, funny & totally relevant story. Shows the judgements and preconceived notions that people have. It also shows so effectively how each person has a whole lot of hurt & they carry it with them though life, no one isn't marred by social issues and prejudices. This is especially in the LGBTQ+ community. My heart broke when Go Young saw on his lover Noh Young Soo computer his research paper on Homosexuality. You could see in Go Young 's eyes the total bewilderment & then the realization of who this guy truly was. The fact that a person could be such a total hypocrite , what I loved about this series it showed people up for who they were. The series didn't make anything precious & for some it will give a true understanding of what people go through. It was funny, I mean just chuckling at so many of the scenes, especially with his friend Mi Ae. Loved this series!!!! It is a definite watch for sure 3 thumbs upWas this review helpful to you?

Entertaining & a must see Japanese BL
I am not sure if I love this BL because the leads are older - but I rewatch this BL every year It has everything a good series should have -- a great story line, a great plot , fantastic cast & the series keeps you engaged from start to finish Only the Japanese actors can give such good acting without words Every emotion is conveyed, the series is nuanced & it doesn't pander it has no unnecessary scenes when the main characters do become more intimate it is to move the story line as a good series should It is a stark reminder that you don't need obnoxious love scenes just to pander to the lowest common form to engage your audience (are you listening Thai bl creators) audiences are more sophisticated and we know and appreciate a good story line with great acting A must seeWas this review helpful to you?
